What size surface does this suit?
At ∅ 24″ (61 cm) the Pelham is a wide, four-light pendant for a kitchen island, dining table, breakfast nook, entryway or bedroom. As a guide, pick a fixture roughly one-half to two-thirds the width of the table below, so it suits tables and islands around 90–120 cm / 35–47″ wide.
How high should I hang it?
Over a table or island, hang the bottom of the shade about 75–90 cm / 30–35″ above the surface. It ships with a 30 cm / 11.8″ chain and the suspension length can be changed on request for high-ceiling rooms. Contact us with your ceiling height before shipping.
What bulbs do you recommend?
It takes 4 × E26/E27 bulbs. Use E26/E27 LED bulbs at about 6–9W each in warm white (2700 K); the pleated fabric drum diffuses the light into a soft, warm, glare-free glow with plenty of output for a table or island. Bulbs are not included. E26 vs E27 guide →
How do I clean the pleated shade?
Dust the pleats with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low, working along the folds. For a mark, spot-clean gently with a barely-damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air-dry fully before switching the light back on. Avoid soaking the fabric; wipe the brass harness and canopy with a dry cloth.
