The Layne Dome Chandelier pairs a wide, shallow metal dome shade — matte black exterior, warm brass interior — with an integrated multi-arm candelabra cluster suspended by an adjustable chain. Designed as a striking overhead focal point, it provides wide-spread illumination tailored for dining room tables, open-concept living areas and entryway foyers.

What size surface does this suit?
At L 36.2″ (92 cm) the Layne is a wide dome fixture built as a focal point over a dining table, an open-concept living area or an entryway foyer. As a guide, pick a fixture roughly one-half to two-thirds the width of the table below, so it suits tables around 140–180 cm / 55–71″ wide. It hangs from a 30 cm / 11.8″ chain that can be adjusted.
How high should I hang it?
Over a dining table, hang the bottom of the dome about 75–90 cm / 30–35″ above the surface. It ships with a 30 cm / 11.8″ chain and the suspension length can be changed on request for high-ceiling rooms and foyers. Contact us with your ceiling height before shipping.
What bulbs do you recommend?
It takes 3 × E14/E12 bulbs in the candelabra cluster inside the dome. Use E14/E12 LED candle bulbs at 4–5W in warm white (2700 K); the brass interior reflects the light for a warm, wide-spread downward glow. Bulbs are not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
How is the light spread, and how do I clean it?
The wide shallow dome with its brass interior throws a broad downward wash — good ambient and dining-table light rather than a tight spot. To clean, switch off and let it cool, then wipe the dome inside and out with a soft, dry microfiber cloth; use a barely-damp cloth for marks and dry immediately, keeping liquid off the finishes.
