Which size should I choose?
Match the diameter to the room. ∅ 15.7″ (40 cm) suits an entryway, bedroom or smaller space; ∅ 19.7″ (50 cm) fits a living room; ∅ 23.6″ (60 cm) anchors a larger room. All three use three bulbs and share the layered rope-wrapped circular form.
What bulbs do you recommend?
It takes 3 × E26/E27 bulbs. Use E26/E27 LED bulbs at about 6–9W each in warm white (2700 K); warm light filters through the hemp rope for an earthy, cozy glow, and Edison-style filament bulbs suit the rustic look. Bulbs are not included. E26 vs E27 guide →
Is this a flush mount or does it hang?
The Solmaz is a ceiling lamp with a layered rope body up to 18.3″ tall. It mounts to a standard ceiling junction box and works with a common wall switch — a warm, textured centrepiece for entryways, living rooms and bedrooms.
How do I clean the hemp rope?
Switch off and let it cool, then dust the rope and metal frame with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low, working along the coils. Hemp is a natural fiber, so keep it dry — avoid soaking or wet-wiping it; lift surface dust rather than rubbing it in.
