1-Light or 2-Lights — which should I choose?
Both share the same 16.9″ height and curved arm. The 1-Light (L 5.9″) is a compact single sconce for a bedside, powder room or narrow wall, or mounted in pairs to flank a mirror. The 2-Lights (L 14″) is a wider double fixture that spreads light across a vanity or corridor from a single riveted backplate.
How high should I mount it?
For a vanity, mount so the center sits at about eye level (150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor); flank a mirror with a pair of 1-Light sconces or center a 2-Lights above it. As a bedside sconce, mount it 15–25 cm / 6–10″ above the mattress. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box.
What bulbs do you recommend?
Use E14/E12 LED candle bulbs at 4–5W in warm white (2700 K) — one per shade. The linen drums glow softly and warm light suits the traditional-transitional styling. Bulbs are not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
How do I clean the linen shades and brass?
Dust the linen drums with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low; spot-clean a mark with a barely-damp cloth and mild soap and let it air-dry. Wipe the brass arm and riveted backplate with a soft, dry cloth, keeping liquid off the finish. Switch off and let the fixture cool first.
