A 1950s-inspired silhouette brought up to date — soft white polymer stretched over a lightweight steel wireframe, casting a warm, perfectly diffused glow. Inspired by mid-century Bubble Lamps.
The Bubble Swag carries the visual language of the iconic 1950s American mid-century Bubble Lamps — soft, organic silhouettes wrapped in a subtle polymer skin over a steel wire frame. Updated with modern manufacturing, the result is a fixture that looks the same as the originals but holds its shape and finish for decades. Same iconic silhouette, same quality details.

Visible fibres are a feature, not a flaw.
The white polymer skin is sprayed and cured by hand. As the polymer settles, it leaves a subtle, fibrous "veined" texture across the surface — most visible up close or when the lamp is unlit. These are not scratches or defects; they're the hallmarks of authentic polymer construction and ensure a soft, non-glare light distribution.
Once illuminated, the veining recedes — the lamp transforms into a warm, evenly diffused, perfectly soft glow.

What models and sizes does the Bubble Swag come in?
The Bubble Swag is available in six model silhouettes across fifteen size combinations:
Model A — Saucer (5 sizes): ∅ 15.7″ to 31.5″ — flat, wide profile.
Model B — Lantern (5 sizes): ∅ 15.7″ to 31.5″ — slightly rounder than A.
Model D — Cigar (1 size): ∅ 11″ × H 15.8″ — tall, vertical.
Model E — Pear (2 sizes): ∅ 11.8″ and ∅ 15.7″ — tapered teardrop.
Model F — Apple (1 size): ∅ 17.7″ × H 14.6″ — rounded sphere.
Model H — Crisscross (1 size): ∅ 19.7″ × H 15″ — supported globe.

Why does the surface have visible "veins"?
The white polymer skin is sprayed and cured by hand. As the polymer settles, it leaves a subtle, fibrous "veined" texture across the surface. This is a feature of authentic polymer construction, not a defect — the same fibrous skin is what gives the lamp its signature soft, non-glare diffusion when illuminated.
The veining is more visible up close or when the lamp is unlit. Once turned on, the texture recedes into a warm, evenly diffused glow.
How is the Bubble Swag installed?
It's a plug-in swag pendant. Each Bubble ships with two ceiling hooks (included) and a 450 cm / 180″ cord ending in a wall plug. Mount the two hooks in your ceiling at the desired position, drape the cord through both hooks to reach your nearest outlet, plug in, and click the inline switch.
No hardwiring or electrician needed — ideal for renters, dorms, and anyone who wants to hang a pendant without a junction box.
What kind of bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?
Standard E26 / E27 screw-base bulb (LED or Edison). E26 in North America, E27 in Europe and the UK. Bulbs are not included.
The cord switch is a push-button on/off — not a dimmer. To dim, pair with a dimmable LED bulb and a separate plug-in dimmer adapter (sold separately at most home improvement stores).

Do I need a wall outlet near the hanging spot?
Yes — a swag light draws power from a standard wall outlet. The 180″ cord (15 ft) gives you ample reach across most rooms, but plan the layout so the cord can drape from the ceiling hooks toward the nearest socket without crossing high-traffic walkways.
How long is the cord, and can I shorten it?
All Dekorfine swag lights ship with a 180-inch (15 ft) cord as standard. The visible drape can be adjusted by where you place the hooks; excess cord can be discreetly tucked or coiled at the wall. For custom lengths, contact our customer service team.
Can I use a swag light with a dimmer?
Yes. Most Dekorfine swag lights accept standard E26/E27 dimmable bulbs and are compatible with plug-in dimmer switches. For a fully integrated solution, ask our team about smart-bulb compatibility per fixture.
Will the cord damage my walls or ceiling?
Installation requires two small drywall anchors for the ceiling hooks — the same kind used for hanging artwork. When removed, the marks can be patched and painted in minutes. Renter-friendly by design.
What rooms work best for a swag light?
Anywhere a hardwired pendant would feel right but isn't possible: above a bedside, a reading chair, a small dining nook, a desk corner, or a child's room where you might want to relocate the fixture later. Especially useful in rentals and older homes without ceiling boxes.
