What size surface does this suit?
At L 59″ (150 cm) the Philomela is a linear statement piece built to run the length of a long dining table or a large kitchen island. As a guide, a linear pendant looks best at roughly one-half to two-thirds the length of the surface below, so it suits tables around 220–300 cm / 87–118″, plus open-concept living rooms and grand entryways.
How high should I hang it?
Over a table or island, hang the bottom of the fixture about 75–90 cm / 30–35″ above the surface so it lights the top without blocking sightlines. It ships with a 150 cm / 59″ cable that can be lengthened on request for high-ceiling rooms. Contact us with your ceiling height before shipping.
Is it dimmable, and how bright is it?
The Philomela uses an integrated LED and casts a soft ambient glow through its clear cast-glass leaves — a warm, decorative statement light rather than a task source. It works with a common wall switch; for dimming, pair it with a compatible LED wall dimmer.
How do I clean the glass leaves and brass?
Switch off and let the fixture cool, then dust the glass leaves, brass branch and bird accents with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For marks on the glass, lightly dampen the cloth with water and a drop of mild dish soap, wipe each leaf gently and dry immediately. Keep liquid off the brass finish.
