A horizontal linear pendant built to wash wide areas in even, ambient light. Finished in a matte black iron surface, this designer fixture brings a trendy, industrial edge to a kitchen island or dining table — with well-spaced spots along the bar for a balanced, considered glow.

Three spot cans — one adjustable
The light comes from three cylindrical spot cans spaced along the bar, one of which tilts so you can angle it toward a work surface or dining table.
Changing a bulb
Bulbs seat inside the cans. If one sits a little deep, ease it out gently — a small bent clip hooked behind the bulb helps draw it down. The internal wiring to each pod is fine and delicate, so take your time and handle with care.
Dimming: if you'd like to dim the Meridian, pair it with a good-quality, compatible wall dimmer switch (not included) for smooth, flicker-free control.

The rule that solves most returns: ⅔ – ¾ of the island's length is the right fixture length. Hang the bottom of the fixture 30–36 in (75–90 cm) above the countertop.

Cut or coil the suspension to reach 30–36 in above any countertop height. Ships with generous cable.
Flat or sloped ceiling
Swivel canopy and independent cables let the bar hang level under a pitched roof.
Centre it on the island, not the room
Align the fixture with the island's midpoint; leave at least 6 in (15 cm) of counter beyond each end.

This lamp is beautiful and goes great above the desk. The LED bulbs are well spaced out. There are 3 cylindrical cans (1 is adjustable) were the bulbs are located. Unfortunately the factory had pushed 2 of the bulbs a little far inside but with a heavy duty clip bent into a "U" and pushing it inside past the bulb, one can hook the bulb and pull it down. This is not stated but needs to be known also in case of changing the bulb. It must be done carefully because electrical wires to the bulb pod are very thin and can break easy. When connecting to the wall switch, make sure you get a good dimmer switch.
