Ghiaccio is the Italian word for ice — and this fixture wears the name well. Each glass element is shaped to evoke the natural irregularity of frozen water and crystalline forms, refracting light into a faceted, organic glow that's never uniform and never the same twice. A piece designed to be looked at, not just looked through.

What sizes does the Ghiaccio Ceiling Lamp come in?
Three sizes: ∅ 17.7″ × H 12.6″ (Dia 45 × H 32 cm, 6 bulbs), ∅ 23.6″ × H 10.2″ (Dia 60 × H 26 cm, 9 bulbs), and ∅ 35.4″ × H 13″ (Dia 90 × H 33 cm, 18 bulbs). All are statement-scale fixtures suited for foyers, dining rooms, lofty living rooms, and hospitality spaces — size up for larger tables and taller, more open rooms.
What does "Ghiaccio" mean and what's the design about?
Ghiaccio is the Italian word for "ice." The fixture is named for its sculptural glass elements, which are shaped by hand to evoke the natural irregularity of frozen water and crystalline ice forms. Light refracts through the glass into a faceted, organic glow — never uniform, never the same twice.
This is a fixture designed to be looked at, not just looked through. It works as light sculpture during the day even when off, and as a luminous centerpiece when illuminated.
What kind of bulbs does the Ghiaccio use?
The Ghiaccio uses E14 (or E12) small screw-base bulbs (LED or Edison) — 6 on the small, 9 on the medium, and 18 on the large size. Use E14 in Europe and the UK; E12 in North America. These are smaller than the more common E26/E27 — purchase the correct base for your region. Bulbs are not included.
For the best aesthetic effect, we recommend warm-white LED candle or globe bulbs (2700K) — they refract beautifully through the hand-crafted glass.
How is the Ghiaccio installed?
The Ghiaccio is ceiling-mounted via a standard junction box and connects to a common wall switch (not included). Because of the size and weight of the hand-crafted glass elements, we recommend two people for installation — and an electrician unless you already have an existing junction box at your desired location.
What is the return and exchange policy?
Dekorfine offers a 30-day return policy on undamaged items in their original packaging. Because the glass elements are hand-crafted, slight variations in shape, surface texture, and refraction pattern between units are part of the artisanal character — these are not eligible for return as defects.

Every fixture in the Ghiaccio & Albano series shares the same frozen, kiln-fired art-glass language — the form simply adapts, from a wall lamp to a pendant, a ceiling lamp, or a full chandelier.
The finish quality is really solid. Makes the whole space feel more upscale.
