A circular brass frame carries thick discs of genuine alabaster, with sculptural white birds perched delicately above each shade — a biophilic statement piece that brings quiet, organic warmth to dining rooms, entryways, and open living spaces.

Each shade is a thick disc carved from genuine alabaster — a naturally translucent stone whose veining and tonal variation make every piece unique. The discs ring a circular brass frame, and small white birds rest above the shades, giving the fixture its biophilic character.

Quick questions.
What's the difference between the 4-head and 5-head versions?
Both share the same 5.5″ / 14 cm depth and the same disc-and-bird design. The difference is diameter: the 4-head measures ⌀ 25.6″ / 65 cm, suited to entryways and dining nooks, while the 5-head measures ⌀ 28.3″ / 72 cm for larger dining tables and living rooms.
Is the alabaster genuine natural stone?
Yes. The disc shades are genuine alabaster, individually cut from natural stone. Slight differences in veining, translucency, and tone between discs are characteristic of the material and not defects — they're what give the fixture its warm, organic glow when lit.
What bulbs does it use?
It takes standard G9-base bulbs — either LED or Edison-style filament — with four or five bulbs depending on the configuration you choose. For dimming, pair dimmable G9 bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately).
How long is the wire, and can it be adjusted?
It ships with a 150 cm / 59″ wire, which the installer can shorten on site for the right drop. If you need it longer, a longer wire can be supplied on request — just reach out before ordering.

Alabaster is a mineral first worked by the Egyptians and Greeks — prized then, as now, for its translucency and quiet grain. Each of our fixtures begins as a block of raw stone and ends in a fixture that glows as if lit from inside the earth itself.
A material that changes a room.
Synthetic shades mimic the look. Alabaster is the look. Semi-translucent, naturally warm, and quietly alive — it softens the light passing through it and fills a space with the kind of glow that makes people slow down.
To work with alabaster is to follow the stone — not force it. Each block tells the carver where the light wants to go.
Four steps from
quarry to fixture.
Every alabaster piece passes through the same four hands — cutting, shaping, drilling, finishing. What arrives at your door carries the trace of all of them.
Cutting
Raw blocks are scored and cut on precision stone saws — every dimension traced from the original design, every grain of the stone respected.
Shaping
Complex curves are turned on lathes and carved by hand. Each fixture's silhouette is coaxed from the stone rather than imposed on it.
Drilling
Concealed channels are drilled for wiring and concealed hardware — invisible in the finished piece, but critical to the clean line.
Finishing
Polished to a soft lustre or honed to matte — whichever brings the stone's veining forward without overpowering it.
