A sculpted walnut center column anchors curved brass arms tipped in pleated white shades — a wood and brass chandelier available in 6- and 8-light configurations, designed as a traditional wood column chandelier for dining rooms, double-height entryways, staircases, and primary bedrooms.

THE DESIGN
A turned walnut column with brass arms — classical proportions, refined finish.
The Simone is built around a turned solid-walnut centre column — sculpted with the slight bulge and taper of a 19th-century cabinetmaker's profile. From it, six or eight gracefully curved brass arms extend outward, each capped with a pleated white shade that diffuses the E27 bulb to a warm, even glow. Hung from a single 30 cm rod over a long dining table, it reads as a pleated shade chandelier dining room centerpiece; sized as the 8 light brass chandelier for dining table over a 10-foot table, it commands the room without overwhelming it.

Should I choose the 6-head or 8-head version for my dining table?
Both versions share the same overall L 90 × H 38 cm envelope — what changes is light density and visual weight. The 6-head suits a 6-seat dining table (6 ft / 180 cm), an entryway, or a primary bedroom; the 8-head is denser and brighter, better for an 8-seat dining table (10 ft / 240 cm), a tall staircase, or a great room with double-height ceilings.
Will US-standard E26 bulbs fit the E27 sockets?
Yes — E26 (US) and E27 (Europe) bulbs are mechanically and electrically interchangeable in this fixture. Any standard household screw-base bulb threads in. Read the full E27 vs E26 guide →
Can I lengthen the suspension rod for a tall ceiling or staircase?
Yes. The fixture ships with a single 30 cm / 11.8″ rigid rod, sized for an 8.5–9 ft ceiling. For double-height entryways, vaulted ceilings, or staircase drops, message us before placing the order and we'll cut the rod to your spec at no extra cost. We don't recommend modifying rigid rods after delivery.
Do the pleated shades come pre-assembled?
Shades ship separately to protect the pleating in transit, and clip onto each arm during installation — see the Lampshade Install guide above for the step-by-step. Plan an extra 10–15 minutes during installation to fit all 6 or 8 shades.
What bulb gives the best look with the white pleated shades?
A 2700K vintage filament Edison bulb (4–6W LED filament version) gives a warm candle-like glow that flatters the pleated white shades — best for dining and entryway use. For brighter task lighting, a 3000K frosted globe (6–8W LED) reads cleaner without losing the warmth.
