THE DESIGN
A wizard's hat tipped over a tree stump — lit from inside.
Hand-cast in solid resin and finished in deep ocean blue or forest green, the conical hat is dotted with tiny pinprick stars that the bulb's glow turns into a constellation across the bedroom wall. A small drooping tip and curled ears at the base read more "friendly woodland creature" than "spooky witch" — perfect for a child too young for monsters but old enough for magic. Set it on a child's nightstand as a whimsical kids lamp, on a nursery shelf as a soft nightlight, or anywhere a room could use a little storybook lamp warmth.

Is it safe enough to leave on a child's nightstand?
The 2 kg / 4.4 lb weight gives the lamp a steady center of gravity — it won't tip over from a casual nudge or a passing pillow fight. As with any plug-in lamp, route the cord behind furniture so a child can't pull on it, and pick a low-wattage bulb (see below) to keep the resin shade comfortably cool to the touch.
What kind of bulb should I use?
Use an E26 (US) or E27 LED bulb — we recommend a soft warm-white (2700K) at 4–6W for a gentle bedtime glow that stays cool to the touch. Avoid incandescent bulbs over 25W, as they generate more heat than ideal for an enclosed resin shade.
How do I clean the resin hat?
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth — the resin is sealed and water-resistant on the surface, so an occasional wipe-down is fine. Avoid abrasive sponges, alcohol, and strong household cleaners, which can dull the painted finish.
Does it work as a nightlight, or is it too bright?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose, not the lamp itself. For a true nightlight glow, pair with a low-output 2W LED in 2700K warm white — the resin shade plus the painted blue or green tint already softens the light considerably. For a brighter reading-friendly desk lamp, step up to 4–6W in the same warm temperature.
