What room size does it suit?
At ∅ 13.8″ × H 14.6″ the Brielle is a compact ceiling light, well suited to bedrooms, entryways, hallways and reading nooks up to about 10 × 12 ft. Its shell texture makes it a natural fit for coastal, boho and organic modern interiors; in a longer hallway, use two or three spaced evenly along its length.
Will it work with my ceiling height?
The fixture is 14.6″ (37 cm) tall, so on an 8 ft ceiling it leaves about 6 ft 9 in (206 cm) of clearance beneath it. That works well above a bed or away from walkways; over a main walkway we recommend a ceiling of 8.5 ft or higher. It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box and controlled by a common wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulbs do you recommend?
The fixture takes two E14 or E12 bulbs. Use LED candle bulbs at about 4–5W each in warm white (2700 K) to bring out the natural sheen of the shell. Bulbs are not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
How do I care for the shell?
Natural shell is delicate and porous, so dust it gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth only — never use water, sprays or cleaning products, and avoid pressing on individual pieces. Wipe the metal frame with a soft, dry cloth. Switch off at the wall and let the bulbs cool first. As a natural material, each shell varies slightly in tone and pattern, making every lamp unique.

Can I install this lamp in a bathroom?
We do not recommend installing this lamp in a bathroom, as moisture will significantly reduce its lifespan, despite its moisture-proof rating.
