Where does this lamp work best?
At ∅ 10.2″ × H 15.4″ the Kensal is a compact accent lamp for a nightstand, console, shelf or side table. Its cabana-striped rope shade casts a warm, textured glow — accent and mood lighting rather than task brightness — and suits coastal, mid-century and eclectic rooms.
What color options are there?
The rope shade comes in nine colors: Deep Red, Red, Green, Blue, Black, Orange, Yellow, Coffee and Apricot. Each is hand-strung in a vertical cabana stripe with a matching column base — pick the tone that suits your room, or mix a pair for a playful pop-art look.
What bulbs do you recommend, and is it dimmable?
Use an E26/E27 LED bulb at 6–9W in warm white (2700 K); light filters warmly through the rope weave. The lamp uses a push-button switch and is not dimmable, so choose a brightness you are happy with at full output. Bulbs are not included. E26 vs E27 guide →
How do I clean the rope shade?
Dust the cotton rope with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low, working along the vertical strands. For a mark, spot-clean gently with a barely-damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air-dry fully before use. Avoid soaking the rope. Switch off and unplug before cleaning.
