The Milo centers on a structural, two-tiered silhouette crafted from hand-blown, heavy-duty glass with a highly reflective, lustrous finish. Its flush-mount engineering keeps the fixture close to the ceiling to preserve vertical clearance — the defining advantage in rooms where a hanging pendant would intrude. The opal glass diffuses the integrated LED into an even, glare-free wash. How low-profile is the Milo, and why does it matter?
The Milo projects just 8.3 inches (21 cm) down from the ceiling. As a flush mount, it sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a chain or rod, which preserves vertical clearance — essential in low-ceiling hallways, walk-in closets, and compact bathrooms where a pendant would hang into head height or feel visually heavy. It delivers the character of a mid-century schoolhouse fixture without sacrificing room above your head.
Can the Milo be used in a bathroom?
The Milo suits modern bathrooms in dry and well-ventilated zones — mounted over the main ceiling area away from direct shower spray. As a general-purpose indoor fixture, confirm the IP rating in the specification sheet before installing in a damp zone directly above a shower or tub; wet zones require an IP44 or higher rated fixture.
