Ainsley Linear Wall Sconce.
The Ainsley Linear Wall Sconce features a slender horizontal tubular iron shade supported by a single extension arm and a rectangular backplate with stepped collar details in a warm finish. It serves as an ideal accent lighting solution for illuminating framed artwork on gallery walls, highlighting built-in bookcases in a home office, mounting above a powder room vanity mirror, or lighting hallway corridors.

Which size should I choose?
Both share the same 8.9″ projection and 3.9″ height, differing only in length. The L 18.9″ suits a small frame, mirror or narrow wall; the L 24″ lights a wider piece of art or a run of bookcases. As a guide, pick a length close to the width of what you are lighting. Both use two bulbs.
How is the light directed?
The single extension arm holds the horizontal tube forward to cast a focused wash down and out across artwork, shelving or a mirror — a directional picture/accent light rather than a full-room source.
How high should I mount it above artwork?
Center the sconce above the frame and mount the tube a little above the top of the piece — roughly 15–20 cm / 6–8″ above the top edge for a typical frame, adjusted for size so the wash is even. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box.
How do I clean it?
Switch off and let it cool, then wipe the iron tube, arm and backplate with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For marks, use a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid abrasive or acidic cleaners, especially on the antique brass finish.
