Where does this sconce work best?
At L 19.7″ × W 7.9″ × H 27.6″ the Calanthe is a large, sculptural botanical sconce — a statement accent for an entryway, hallway, living-room wall, or flanking a large mirror or fireplace. Its cascading glass leaves add vertical dimension along with soft accent lighting.
How is it lit and how much light does it give?
The Calanthe uses an integrated LED and casts a soft, diffuse ambient glow through its clear cast-glass leaves — decorative accent light rather than task brightness. It works with a common wall switch; for dimming, pair it with a compatible LED wall dimmer.
How high should I mount it?
As a large decorative accent, mount it so its center sits around eye level or a little above, and allow clearance for its 27.6″ height above and below. Flank a mirror, fireplace or console with a symmetrical pair for balance. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box.
How do I clean the glass leaves and brass?
Switch off and let it cool, then dust the glass leaves and brass branch with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For marks on the glass, lightly dampen the cloth with water and a drop of mild dish soap, wipe each leaf gently and dry immediately. Keep liquid off the lacquered brass finish.
