Tulip Branch Sconce.

Hand-cast brass that grows upward as a single textured stem with leaves and offshoots, each one tipped with a frosted glass tulip turned slightly toward the room — a 47.2″-tall botanical wall sconce powder room mirror flank, a staircase wall sconce tall brass for curved stair walls, or a floral sconce for bedroom corners that wanted something quieter than a chandelier.

A brass branch on the wall — tulips turned toward the room.

THE DESIGN
Single textured stem, organic offshoots — five frosted glass tulips, each turned its own way.
The Tulip Branch grows from a small wall plate as a single hand-cast brass stem, textured along its length and lightly twisted as it climbs upward. Leaves and side offshoots branch out organically — five in total — each tipped with a frosted glass tulip subtly oriented toward the room rather than the wall, so the warm G9 glow inside reads as petalled light rather than a row of identical bulbs. Hardwired and fully dimmable, it's at home as a tall branch wall light frosted glass flanking a powder-room mirror, climbing the wall of a curved staircase as the room's quiet anchor, or holding a bedroom corner that wanted sculpture more than a chandelier.

What height should I install this — and what wall space does it need?

The Tulip Branch is 47.2″ (120 cm) tall and projects 11.8″ (30 cm) from the wall. For a powder-room mirror flank, mount the wall plate roughly 36 in (91 cm) from the floor so the lowest tulip sits just above counter-height and the topmost tulip stays below an 8 ft ceiling line. Beside a curved staircase, mount the plate at the landing's eye-line and let the branch climb upward. In all cases, leave at least 6–8 in of side clearance from corners or door trim so the offshoots have room to read.
