What interior styles does the Maren Rattan pendant suit?

The Maren works best in Japandi, coastal modern, and bohemian interiors — its split-rattan weave and warm brown tone complement natural linen, white oak, jute, and terracotta surfaces. The cream woven cord reads as a deliberate design detail that suits the intentional, craft-forward aesthetic of Japandi and Scandi-boho spaces. It is less suited to high-contrast industrial, ultra-minimal, or heavily dark-toned interiors where the natural rattan texture can look too rustic.

Is rattan durable enough for a dining room pendant?

This pendant uses engineered split-rattan constructed over a metal frame — the metal structure carries the load, so the rattan is not subject to the stress that causes natural rattan to loosen or break over time. Under normal indoor conditions it is durable and stable. Avoid installation in kitchens with heavy steam exposure or in rooms with very high humidity. Dust periodically with a soft dry brush or compressed air to prevent debris accumulating in the weave.

How high should I hang this pendant over a dining table?

Hang the bottom of the shade 28–34 inches above the tabletop for dining use — this is the standard range that balances focused downlight and comfortable sight lines across the table. For ambient use in a living room or bedroom (not directly over a surface), 72–78 inches from the floor is the standard comfortable clearance height. Contact us if your ceiling height requires an extended cord before ordering.

Can this pendant be used outdoors or on a covered porch?

No — the Maren Sculptural Rattan Pendant is rated for indoor dry locations only. Prolonged moisture or direct outdoor exposure will warp the rattan and may corrode the metal frame. For a covered porch or outdoor dining area, a fixture with an IP44 or higher rating and weather-resistant materials is required.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
