A timeless expression of understated elegance — crafted from brass with a hand-applied antique finish, slender curving arms, and tapered candle-style holders that evoke classic European chandelier silhouettes with a refined, modern sensibility. Available in a 5-light or 6-light configuration, in five hand-finished colors. Brings warmth, symmetry, and vintage charm to dining rooms, foyers, and rustic kitchen tables alike.
Form & proportions
The Gabby draws on the visual language of classic European chandeliers — slender curving arms radiating from a central column, each tipped with a tapered candle-style holder where the bulb stands proudly upright. It's a silhouette that has lived in dining rooms and grand foyers for centuries, and reads as immediately familiar regardless of the surrounding interior style.
The brass surface is finished with a hand-applied antique coating — every chandelier is treated by hand, which gives the metal a soft, lived-in character rather than the cold uniformity of factory-machined finishes.
The Gabby's metal surface is finished with a painted coating applied by hand. Rather than a perfectly smooth, sanded finish, the surface may display a soft, sponge-like texture that adds a touch of organic character — this is intentional, not a defect. The texture complements the chandelier's fluid silhouette and brings architectural poise and timeless elegance to any interior.
Uses small E14 (Europe) or E12 (North America) candle-base bulbs — the small Edison screw, not E26/E27. LED or filament Edison both work — bulbs not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
Connects to a standard ceiling junction box. Ships with a 100 cm / 39.4″ hanging chain + 12 cm / 4.7″ ceiling canopy. Custom chain length on request.
Pick a 5-light for medium spaces (small dining tables, foyers), or a 6-light for full-size dining rooms and grand entryways.
Two configurations:
5-Lights: L 35.8″ × H 22.4″ (L 91 × H 57 cm) — round-cluster arrangement with 5 candle-style holders. Best for foyers, small dining tables, bedrooms, and primary bedroom corners.
6-Lights: L 60.6″ × H 25.6″ (L 154 × H 65 cm) — extended linear arrangement with 6 holders. Best for long dining tables, grand entryways, and larger formal rooms.
Both ship with a 100 cm / 39.4″ hanging chain and a 12 × 2 cm ceiling canopy. Custom chain lengths are available on request.
Each Gabby is finished with a painted antique coating applied entirely by hand. Up close, the metal surface displays a soft, sponge-like texture rather than the perfectly smooth surface of a machine-sanded finish.
This is intentional and part of the design — it gives the chandelier a slightly organic, lived-in character that complements its classic European silhouette. Slight variation in texture or tone between individual units is part of authentic hand-finishing and is not a defect.
Black Bronze — deepest finish, near-black with warm bronze undertones. Reads as confident and architectural.
Brass — clean, polished warm gold tone. Mid-century and contemporary friendly.
Gold Leaf — brightest, most luminous gold finish with a slightly aged feel. Most decorative option.
Black — pure matte black, the most graphic and contemporary option. Reads modern in any setting.
Antique Bronze — warm bronze with deeper aged tones. The most traditional, classic European look.
See the side-by-side comparison chart above for a direct visual reference.
Both E14 and E12 are small Edison screw bases — also called "candelabra-style" — common in chandeliers and decorative European-style lighting:
E14: 14 mm base diameter — the European standard for candelabra bulbs.
E12: 12 mm base diameter — the North American standard for candelabra bulbs.
The Gabby's sockets accommodate both E14 and E12 candle-style bulbs, so you can buy whichever is locally standard. Look for "E14 LED candle bulb" or "E12 LED candelabra bulb" in warm white (2700K) for the most flattering, candle-like glow that suits this chandelier.
Both are widely available at hardware stores, lighting suppliers, Amazon, Home Depot, and IKEA. Read our E12 vs E14 buying guide →
The Gabby hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box via the included canopy. The 100 cm / 39.4″ hanging chain is decorative and structural — adjust links to shorten the drop, or contact us for a custom-length chain for higher ceilings.
For chain customization, send your preferred length to support@dekorfine.com when ordering — we'll quote within 24 hours. An electrician is recommended unless an existing junction box is already in place.
The fixture works with a common wall switch. For dimming, pair with dimmable E14 or E12 LED candle bulbs and a compatible LED-rated wall dimmer. Confirm dimmer-bulb compatibility with your installer before ordering, as not every candelabra LED is dimmable.
Edison-style filament bulbs are typically dimmable on standard dimmers — they also give the most authentic candle-like flicker that suits the Gabby's traditional silhouette.
5-Lights: bedrooms, foyers, breakfast nooks, smaller round dining tables (4-6 seats), or as a primary fixture in a primary bedroom.
6-Lights: long rectangular dining tables (8-10 seats), grand entryways, two-story foyers, and stairwell installations where the extended profile feels balanced.
Pairs especially well with traditional, transitional, French country, English cottage, modern farmhouse, and rustic-luxe interiors — anywhere the warm symmetry of candle-style lighting reinforces the architecture.
Dekorfine offers a 30-day return policy on undamaged items in their original packaging. The hand-applied sponge-textured finish is part of the design — slight variations in texture or tone between units, or differences from photos, are characteristics of authentic hand-finishing and not eligible for return as defects. Custom chain-length orders are also non-returnable.

The Brass Collection
Five heirloom-minded designs, each offered in its signature finish – or made to order in any of twenty hand-applied finishes from our studio.
Why brass
Brass never stands still. It warms, deepens and settles in – and every finish we apply is chosen to age beautifully in your home.
Each finish is applied by hand, giving the metal a soft, lived-in character instead of a flat factory sheen.
From mirror-polished brass to blackened iron and warm nickel – matched to the standards of luxury interiors.
Screens flatter metal. Order hand-finished sample chips and judge each tone in your own light.
From the workshop
Before a finish ever reaches your home, every piece passes through skilled hands. Here’s how raw brass becomes a Dekorfine light.

Every American home has its own accent. Pick the one that sounds like yours and we’ll suggest the finishes that belong in it.

Levels of patina
Honest, matte gold with no ageing. It warms and deepens on its own as the years go by.
A deeper, even patina – settled and refined, never spotty. Looks aged, but beautifully kept.
Heavily aged, with blackened detail in the recesses. The character of a piece collected over years.
Prefer it to stay bright? Lacquered Burnished Brass is burnished, then sealed under clear lacquer for a luminous sheen that holds.

Room by room
A few designer rules of thumb to help you choose the right size and hanging height.
Rule of thumb
Choose a chandelier one-half to two-thirds the width of your table, and hang it so the bottom sits about 30–36″ above the tabletop.
Pieces for this room
Rule of thumb
Leave roughly 30–36″ between counter and fixture. A long island suits a wide, linear silhouette – or a pair of pendants.
Pieces for this room
Rule of thumb
Over a round table, pick a fixture about 12″ narrower than the tabletop so the light feels centered, not crowded.
Pieces for this room
Rule of thumb
Add the room’s length and width in feet – that number, in inches, is a good fixture width. Pair it with sconces about 60–66″ from the floor.

Yes. Each of these five designs can be made to order in any of the twenty hand-applied finishes in our Finishes Library. Send us your choice and we’ll confirm the details and a quote.
Build a selection on our Finishes Library page, or email the studio. We send hand-finished sample chips so you can judge tone and sheen in your own light.
Unlacquered finishes such as Natural Brass are living finishes – they slowly warm and deepen with age. If you’d rather keep the shine, choose Lacquered Burnished Brass, which is sealed under clear lacquer.
Email us a photo of your faucets, cabinet pulls or other fixtures. We’ll suggest the closest finishes from our library, and you can compare them in person with sample chips.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, ammonia and metal polishes – they can strip hand-applied finishes and patinas.
The Gabby comes with an adjustable chain, and the Florian’s chain length can be changed on request. For other pieces, tell us your ceiling height and we’ll advise.
