Can I use the Ainsworth as a picture light above artwork?
Yes — the slim 2″ projection and targeted beam make it well-suited for illuminating framed artwork, photography, or gallery walls. Mount it 8–12″ above the top edge of the frame for even coverage.
What bulb type does this sconce take?
The Ainsworth accepts an E14 or E12 base bulb. LED and Edison-style bulbs are both compatible. We recommend a warm white (2700–3000 K) LED for artwork or vanity use.
Is this sconce dimmable?
Dimming depends on your chosen bulb and wall dimmer switch. Select a dimmable LED bulb rated for your dimmer; standard non-dimmable LED bulbs may flicker. The fixture itself is dimmer-compatible when paired with appropriate components.
Does it work with my country's electrical system?
The Ainsworth operates on AC 110–240 V and is certified for use in North America, Europe, Australia, and Saudi Arabia — no voltage converter required.
Is professional installation required?
The sconce is hardwired and connects to an existing wall switch circuit. We recommend a qualified electrician for installation to ensure safe and code-compliant wiring.
