Carefully selected wild rattan from Southeast Asia, fumigated to resist insects while preserving its natural resilience and soft organic sheen — no plastic, no synthetic feel.
Hand-Woven Excellence
Every shade is woven entirely by hand by a skilled artisan over several hours — never molded on an industrial line. The result is a texture that's genuinely one of a kind, and a quiet sense of craft in the room.
From Vine to Lamp
Seven stages, each done with the same care, before a single piece ever reaches your home.
Wild rattan is hand-selected from Southeast Asian forests, cut without felling a single tree.
Canes are cleaned and fumigated to resist pests, then cured to bring out natural flexibility.
An artisan hand-weaves each shade over a frame — several hours of work per single piece.
Once woven, the piece is set into its final form, excess cane tips are trimmed, and every surface is sanded smooth — so there's never a rough edge to catch on.
Each piece is air-dried naturally or kiln-dried at low temperature to remove excess moisture, guarding against mold and warping — moisture content is kept within a carefully controlled range.
Optional finishing touches on select pieces — polishing, color touch-ups, and a coat of varnish or wood oil for extra moisture resistance and sheen.
Every piece is quality-checked and coated with a protective finish before it ships.
