Where does this wall lamp work best?
At L 9.5″ × W 4″ × H 13″ the Atticus is a slim, balanced sconce. Mount a pair to flank a headboard, a mirror or a console, or install several along a formal hallway. Its mid-century lines suit modern, transitional and classic interiors alike.
How high should I mount it?
As a bedside light, mount it so the shade sits about 15–25 cm / 6–10″ above the top of the mattress, about 30–40″ apart for a pair. In a hallway, mount the center around eye level, roughly 150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box and controlled by an external wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
What bulbs do you recommend?
This lamp takes an E26 or E27 bulb. Use an A19/A60 LED bulb at about 6–8W in warm white (2700 K); the fabric shade softens it into a warm, comfortable glow for reading or ambience. Bulbs are not included. E26 vs E27 guide →
How do I clean it?
Dust the fabric shade with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low; spot-clean a mark with a barely-damp cloth and let it air-dry. Wipe the brass parts with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Switch off and let the bulb cool first.
