The Disko Table Lamp pairs natural textures with distinct geometric forms. It features a solid, cylindrical wooden base with smoothly rounded shoulders, finished in a rich, dark tone. Above, a brushed metal collar supports an amber-tinted, dome-shaped glass shade. This contrast of heavy, opaque wood and delicate, tinted glass creates a grounded lighting fixture suited for nightstands, credenzas, and wooden consoles.

The story

A study in opposites — heavy and weightless.

The Disko translates a quiet mid-century geometric vocabulary into three stacked elements. A solid cylindrical wood base in deep walnut tones grounds the fixture with sculptural weight, its rounded shoulders softening the column where it meets the next layer. A brushed metal collar bridges the wood to a softly domed amber-tinted glass shade — translucent enough to reveal the internal metal frame and the bulb's filament glow. The contrast is the point: heavy + delicate, opaque + tinted, organic grain + cool metal. The amber tint warms the bulb light independently of color temperature, casting an ambient honey-toned glow. Pairs effortlessly with mid-century modern, transitional, warm-classic, Scandinavian organic, biophilic, and earth-tone interiors.

What does the amber-tinted glass do for the light?

The amber tint in the glass warms the bulb's light independently of the bulb's own color temperature. Even with a neutral 4000 K LED, the amber glass filters the output toward a honey / warm-amber glow — soft, ambient, and especially flattering on warm wood, leather, brass, and earth-toned interiors.

The dome is also translucent enough that you can see the bulb's filament through the glass — so vintage Edison-style filament bulbs make a particularly beautiful focal point inside the shade.

What kind of bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?

Single E26 or E27 medium screw bulb (LED or Edison-filament; not included). E26 is the US/Canada standard, E27 is the EU/UK/Asia/Australia standard — physically interchangeable. Recommend 2700 K warm-white LED at 5-7W, or a vintage Edison-filament bulb for a visible-filament focal point through the amber dome.

The lamp itself is not dimmable — the inline push-button switch is on/off only. For variable brightness, use a dimmable LED bulb + a smart plug with built-in dimming, or a smart bulb with phone-app control.

Is the wood base solid wood or veneer?

The cylindrical base is solid wood with a walnut-tone finish. The richness of the dark stain emphasizes the natural grain, and because the form is solid (not hollowed or laminated veneer), the lamp has a satisfying physical weight — it sits firmly on a credenza or nightstand without tipping.

Subtle grain variation between individual lamps is part of the natural-material character and not a quality issue.

How is it installed?

Plug-in operation, no hardwiring required. The lamp ships with a 150 cm / 59″ cord ending in a standard wall plug, with a push-button switch on the cord for on/off. Place on a surface, screw in a bulb, plug in, switch on.

Where does the Disko work best?

The walnut-and-amber composition pairs effortlessly with mid-century modern, transitional, warm-classic, Scandinavian organic, biophilic, and earth-tone interiors. Best placements:

Nightstand: ambient warm light for evening reading and pre-sleep wind-down.
Credenza or media console: as a sculptural anchor flanking artwork or a TV.
Wooden console / sideboard: the walnut base reads as one continuous wooden silhouette with the surface beneath.
Living-room corner table: low ambient warmth at a seating-eye-level perimeter.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
