The Ginkgo Wall Sconce is built from metal, iron, and ceramic elements shaped and finished into the distinctive fan-lobed form of a ginkgo leaf — one of nature's most ancient and recognizable botanical silhouettes. The shiny gold and white finish radiates warmth and elegance, and four G9 sockets are distributed across the sculptural form to cast warm light from multiple points simultaneously. Model A (13.8″ × 19.7″) works best for bedside walls, reading nooks, hallways, and smaller accent walls where an intimate botanical focal point is needed. Model B (15.7″ × 23.6″) has the scale for a living room feature wall, entryway gallery, or a large blank wall where the sconce needs to hold its own as a primary visual element. For a dramatic flanking installation on either side of a sofa or headboard, two Model A sconces spaced 36–48 inches apart give the most balanced composition.

Does the Ginkgo Wall Sconce need a licensed electrician to install?

Yes — the Ginkgo is a hardwired wall sconce that connects directly to your wall's electrical wiring and is controlled via a dedicated wall switch. In the US, hardwired fixture installation must comply with local electrical codes; a licensed electrician is recommended. How high on the wall should the Ginkgo be mounted?

For a bedside sconce, mount the fixture center at 60–65 inches from the floor — this puts the light at a comfortable reading height when sitting up in bed. For a living room feature wall or entryway, 66–72 inches is the standard position for a wall sconce used as accent light. For pure decorative / sculptural use (not task lighting), position the center of the ginkgo leaf silhouette at natural eye level — approximately 60 inches from floor to center — so the full form is visible without looking up.

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
