What size room does this suit?
At ∅ 33.5″ (85 cm) the Valdemar is a large statement chandelier for high-ceiling and open spaces — over a dining table, in a stairwell, a double-height entryway or a spacious living room, ideally rooms of about 18 m² / 195 sq ft or more. It hangs from a 30 cm / 11.8″ chain that can be adjusted for your ceiling.
Can the hanging chain be adjusted?
Yes. It ships with a 30 cm / 11.8″ chain, and the suspension length can be changed to suit your ceiling height — useful for stairwells and double-height rooms. Contact us with your drop before shipping and we will adjust it.
What bulbs do you recommend?
This fixture takes G9 bulbs. Use G9 LED bulbs at about 2–3W each in warm white (2700 K); the glass grape clusters diffuse the light for a soft, warm glow that brings out the brass vine and metallic leaves. Bulbs are not included. G9 & G4 bulb guide →
How do I clean the glass and brass?
Switch off and let the fixture cool, then dust the glass grape shades and brass vine with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For marks on the glass, lightly dampen the cloth with water and a drop of mild dish soap, wipe gently and dry immediately. Keep liquid off the brass finish and dry it with the cloth only.
