Does this sconce need an electrician to install?
Yes — the Portland is a hardwired wall sconce that must be connected to an external wall switch for controlled electricity supply. It is not a plug-in fixture. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended, particularly if you do not have an existing wall box at the mounting location.
Which model should I choose — A or B?
Model A (L 5.5″ × H 3.5″) is the compact option — well-suited to a bedside, a narrow hallway, or any space where a lighter presence is preferred. Model B (L 6.3″ × H 4.3″) is marginally larger and makes a slightly stronger statement, working well flanking a mirror, alongside a console, or on a living room feature wall.
