The Reykjavik Glass Wall Sconce features tiered, cascading layers of vertically suspended, ice-textured glass cylinders intermingled with metallic brass tubes. Where does this sconce work best?
At L 9.8″ × H 13″ the Reykjavik sconce is a sculptural accent for a hallway, entryway, living-room wall, or flanking a mirror or fireplace. Its cascading ice-textured glass rods and brass tubes add depth and texture while giving soft accent light. Mount singly or in a symmetrical pair.
What bulbs do you recommend?
Use E14/E12 LED candle bulbs at 4–5W in warm white (2700 K); warm light glows through the heavy cast-glass cylinders and picks out the brass tubes. Bulbs are not included. E12 vs E14 guide →
How high should I mount it?
As an accent, mount so its center sits around eye level (150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor); flank a mirror or fireplace with a symmetrical pair, or space them evenly along a corridor. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box.
How do I clean the glass rods and brass?
Switch off and let it cool, then dust the glass cylinders and brass tubes with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For marks on the glass, lightly dampen the cloth with water and a drop of mild dish soap, wipe gently and dry immediately. Keep liquid off the brass finish.
