Does this wall lamp need an electrician to install?
Yes. The Pleated Resin Wall Lamp is a hardwired wall sconce — it connects directly to your wall's electrical supply and is controlled by an external wall switch. In the US, hardwired fixtures typically require a licensed electrician to connect safely. The installation guide (download above) provides full wiring details for your installer.
What G9 bulb should I use for the best ambient glow?
For the softest, most flattering ambient glow through the beige resin, a G9 LED at 2700–3000 K in the 3–5W range works best — warm enough to read as candlelight without over-brightening the surface texture. G9 bulbs are widely available and are not included with the lamp.
Can this pleated wall sconce be used in a bathroom?
The lamp is rated for indoor use. In a bathroom, it is suitable for dry zones — vanity walls, above a sink mirror, or on a side wall away from direct water exposure. For wet zones directly above a shower or tub, an IP44-rated fixture is required. Contact us if you need clarification for your specific layout.
Is the Pleated Resin Wall Lamp compatible with a dimmer?
Dimmer compatibility depends on both the wall dimmer model and the G9 LED bulb you select. Pairing a dimmable G9 LED with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) wall dimmer generally works well. Confirm your bulb is labelled dimmable before purchasing — non-dimmable LEDs may flicker or fail early on a dimmer circuit.
How do I install two sconces symmetrically on either side of a bed or mirror?
For a bedside pair, a centre-to-centre spacing of 140–160 cm typically looks balanced on a standard queen or king headboard wall. Mount the lamp centre at roughly 150–160 cm from the floor (about pillow height plus 30 cm) — this puts the light at a comfortable reading angle without shining directly in your eyes. Your installer can confirm the exact positioning once your headboard or mirror dimensions are known.
