A mid-century space-age table lamp where three concentric translucent acrylic discs stack horizontally around a slim aluminum stem — like Saturn's rings caught mid-orbit — capped by a chrome mirror-finish sphere bulb that reflects the room and the colored glow of the discs below.

The story

Saturn's rings, scaled for the desk.

The Saturna draws its language from the Mid-century Space Age — that postwar 1950s-60s period when the launch of Sputnik, the moonshot, and Atomic Age scientific optimism translated directly into design. Designers from Verner Panton to Eero Aarnio built a vocabulary of orbital geometries, planetary forms, and futuristic materials: stacked discs, chrome spheres, translucent acrylic, and slim aluminum stems — every object a small celebration of where we thought we were going.

The Saturna distills that vocabulary into a desk-scale lamp. Three concentric translucent acrylic discs — the central one largest, the outer two smaller — stack horizontally around a polished aluminum stem, like Saturn's rings caught mid-orbit. A chrome mirror-finish sphere bulb sits at the top, reflecting the rings, the room, and itself in playful curved-mirror perspective. Pairs effortlessly with mid-century modern, retro futurism, modern eclectic, Hollywood Regency, contemporary, and warm-eclectic interiors.

What kind of bulb gives it the iconic chrome-sphere look?

The Saturna's signature look comes from a "silver bowl" / "half-chrome" / "tip-mirror" globe bulb — a globe-shaped E26/E27 bulb where the top half is finished in a chrome mirror coating, and the bottom half emits warm light downward through the acrylic discs.

Search for: "silver bowl globe bulb", "half-chrome decorative bulb", or "crown silver tipped bulb" — widely available in E26 (US/CA) and E27 (EU/AU) at lighting suppliers and Amazon. Choose warm color temperature (2700K-3000K) for the most authentic mid-century glow.

How is it powered — corded or rechargeable?

The Saturna ships with a USB charging cable for cordless tabletop use — charge it up, then place anywhere without worrying about outlet proximity. Once charged, control is via the push-button switch at the base.

The lamp is not dimmable: the push-button is on/off only. For ambiance variation, use a warm-tone bulb (2700K-3000K) and rely on the colored acrylic discs to scatter and soften the light.

Where does it work best?

At ∅ 23 × H 40 cm, the Saturna is a compact accent lamp — best in spots where its sculptural mid-century silhouette can be admired up close:

How do the colored discs affect the light?

The translucent acrylic discs filter and tint the warm bulb glow — the Green version casts a softly verdant pool of light that reads cooler and more atmospheric, while the Orange version casts a richly amber glow that reads warmer and more intimate. Both colorways look striking when the lamp is off (architectural mid-century object) and illuminated (jewel-toned light source).

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
