Should I choose 42″ or 48″?
A fan’s diameter should match the room. The ∅ 42″ (106 cm) size suits bedrooms and rooms up to about 14 m² / 150 sq ft; the ∅ 48″ (122 cm) size moves more air and fits living rooms and open spaces up to about 20 m² / 225 sq ft. Both share the same 11″ (28 cm) flush-mount height, so clearance on standard or low ceilings is identical.
What is the difference between Model A and Model B?
Both models are available in 42″ and 48″ and share the same flush-mount body, DC motor and remote control. Model A is rated at 72W. Check the dimension drawings above for the exact profile of each model, and contact us if you are unsure which suits your room.
Why a DC motor?
All Dekorfine fan lights use DC motors. Compared with traditional AC motors they run quieter, use noticeably less energy and allow finer speed control from the remote — ideal for bedrooms and low-ceiling rooms where the fan sits close to you.
Do you ship internationally?
No. The Minka fan light ships to the United States only and is wired for AC 110–120V, 60Hz. Orders to other countries cannot be fulfilled.

Pro tip —
For ceilings over 9 ft, add a downrod to lower the blade plane for optimal air distribution. For ceilings under 8 ft, choose a flush-mount design to maintain safe head clearance. When in doubt, size up — a slightly larger fan at a lower speed is always quieter than a smaller fan pushed hard.
