Is the Brennan suitable for a low ceiling?
Yes — the Brennan is a flush-mount (low-profile) fan with an overall height of just 9.8 inches, designed specifically for modern homes with low to average ceiling heights. It mounts close to the ceiling rather than on a down-rod, preserving headroom. For ceiling fans, US safety guidance recommends keeping blades at least 7 feet above the floor — confirm your ceiling height allows for this before installing.
Why a DC motor, and how is it controlled?
All Brennan fans use a whisper-quiet DC motor, which runs noticeably quieter, uses less energy, and offers smoother, more precise speed control than a conventional AC motor — ideal for bedrooms and living spaces. The fan and its integrated LED light are operated by an included remote control, so speed and lighting can be adjusted from anywhere in the room.
Which finish should I choose?
Walnut color blades bring the warmest, most organic feel and pair with wood-toned and natural interiors. Brushed Nickel is a soft, neutral metal that suits transitional and contemporary rooms. Gold adds a warm, refined accent for glam and mid-century spaces, while Black gives a sharp, industrial-modern look against light ceilings. All four share the same low-profile body and DC motor.
Does it ship outside the United States?
No — the Brennan Ceiling Fan Light ships to the United States only, and we are unable to ship it to other countries. Its electrical system is configured for the US grid at AC 110–120V, 60Hz. For international destinations, this product is not available.

Pro tip —
For ceilings over 9 ft, add a downrod to lower the blade plane for optimal air distribution. For ceilings under 8 ft, choose a flush-mount design to maintain safe head clearance. When in doubt, size up — a slightly larger fan at a lower speed is always quieter than a smaller fan pushed hard.
