Sculpted from natural yellow travertine — a warm-toned, mineral-veined stone formed over millennia in geothermal springs — and finished with walnut wood hardware for warmth. Yellow travertine forms in geothermal hot springs over thousands of years — calcium carbonate precipitates layer upon layer, trapping minerals, gas pockets, and tonal banding into the structure of the stone. The result is a material that's unmistakably ancient and unmistakably warm, tinted golden-amber by trace iron oxides.

The Yellow Travertine pendant pairs that geological history with walnut wood hardware — a clean, contemporary contrast that lets the stone be the focus. Five distinct silhouettes (A-E) range from compact accent to substantial focal scale, making the collection adaptable to hallways, kitchens, dining tables, and bedside placements.

Yellow Travertine is natural stone.

Yellow travertine forms in the natural environment through complex physical and chemical changes, coupled with the evolution of geological movements. It is a masterpiece of history that belongs to nature — not subject to human control.

This means the veining pattern, surface pitting, mineral inclusions, and tonal banding will differ from unit to unit. Your pendant will share the overall yellow-amber color tone and form shown in product photos, but the specific stone "fingerprint" will be unique to your piece. Treat any variation as part of the material's value, not a defect.

What is yellow travertine, and why does each pendant look slightly different?

Yellow travertine is a sedimentary stone in the limestone family — formed when calcium carbonate precipitates out of mineral-rich hot springs over thousands of years. The "yellow" color comes from trace iron oxides incorporated into the stone during formation, giving it a characteristic warm golden-amber tone.

Because each pendant is cut from a unique block of natural stone, your unit's exact veining pattern, surface pitting, mineral inclusions, and tonal banding will differ from the photos. The overall yellow-amber color tone and silhouette will match — only the natural "fingerprint" of the stone is unique to your piece.

This is the nature of working with a real geological material — and it's what makes each pendant unrepeatable.

How do I choose between Models A through E?

All five share the same yellow travertine + walnut materials — only silhouette differs:

Model A (∅ 30 × H 13 cm): Widest, lowest profile — flat drum. Best over dining tables and kitchen islands.
Model B (∅ 15 × H 18 cm): Tall narrow cylinder. Best for bedsides, entryways, and breakfast bars.
Model C (∅ 10 × H 17 cm): Slimmest cylinder — most architectural. Best for hallways, accents, and minimalist spaces.
Model D (∅ 15 × H 16 cm): Balanced cylinder — same diameter as B but slightly shorter. Best for kitchens and breakfast bars.
Model E (∅ 11 × H 12.5 cm): Most compact. Best for bedsides, powder rooms, and small accent placements.

Sizing rule for over a dining table: pick a pendant diameter roughly 1/3 the table's narrow dimension.

What kind of bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?

Each pendant uses one G9 bi-pin bulb (LED or halogen; not included). G9 is a small two-pin base — recommend warm-white G9 LED at 2700K, around 3-4W. The warm white tone passes through the travertine as a soft golden glow that highlights the stone's natural mineral veining.

Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a compatible LED-rated wall dimmer.

How do I care for the travertine pendant?

Travertine is durable but porous — care for it like any natural stone:

Dust regularly with a soft dry cloth or a soft brush.
Spot-clean any marks with a slightly damp cloth — avoid soaking the stone.
Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon, citrus-based products) which can etch the stone surface.
Avoid abrasive scrubbers which can scratch the natural patina.
For deeper cleaning, use a pH-neutral stone cleaner.

Where does the Yellow Travertine pendant work best?

The warm yellow stone + walnut palette pairs effortlessly with contemporary, modern luxe, transitional, modern farmhouse, Mediterranean, organic-modern, and warm-traditional interiors. As a single pendant: dining tables, kitchen islands, breakfast bars, foyers, bedsides, and stairwell landings.

Pairs especially well with cream walls, oak and walnut wood floors, marble or travertine countertops, leather upholstery, brass hardware, and warm-neutral palettes. The yellow-amber tone is most flattering against neutral or warm-toned walls — avoid stark white or cool blue-toned spaces, which can make the stone look out of context.

Because each pendant is sculpted from natural travertine stone, slight variations in veining, pitting, surface texture, and tone between units are part of authentic stone character — not defects, and not eligible for return.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Eligible — we cover 100% of costs

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.

We select only the finest natural stone and leave its raw, breathing character intact. What arrives at your door isn't lighting. It's a living stone sculpture, warmed from within.

Travertine isn't made — it's gathered. Layer by layer, across thousands of years, minerals settle in warm underground springs and leave behind this porous, honey-toned stone. It built Roman baths. It lined the floor of Saint Peter's Basilica. Of all the materials we work with, it's the one that grows more beautiful with time.

We source ours from the most expressive Mediterranean quarries — then shape it, slowly and by hand, into lighting.

From quarry to light.

Every lamp takes days — not minutes — from raw block to finished fixture. Three stages, each done by hand.

Sourcing
We hand-select only the most expressive travertine from Mediterranean quarries — grading each block for veining, density, and character before it enters the workshop.

Hand-Shaping
Master craftsmen cut and turn the stone patiently, hollowing it thin enough for light to pass through and polishing just enough to reveal the veining — never enough to erase the pores.

Assembly & Inspection
Electrical components are set inside the finished body. Every fixture is wired, lit, and inspected — when a piece falls short of our standard, it stays in the workshop.

Small-batch production. Every fixture assembled and tested before it ships.

The Source

Where the light is made.

There's no outsourced factory in a different country, and no logo swapped onto someone else's work. Every travertine fixture is cut, shaped, wired, and inspected in our own workshop — under one roof, by the same hands, week after week.

That vertical control is the whole point. We choose the stone ourselves. We train the craftsmen ourselves. We run the quality check ourselves. Nothing leaves the workshop until it's something we'd put in our own home.
