The story

A lamp that wears its story.

The Revolve was designed to push back against disposable, throwaway lighting. Made from solid metal and durable acrylic, it's built to be passed down rather than replaced — knocks, scratches, and the soft patina that develop over years of daily use are part of its character, not its decline.

The shade is shaped using traditional metal-spinning craftsmanship — a sheet of metal rotated against a forming tool until it takes its sleek, slightly curved profile. The inset color ring on the base is a quiet design touch: it matches the shade exactly, tying the composition together at floor and tabletop level.

Light escapes both downward through the acrylic diffuser for a warm tabletop wash, and upward through the top metal feature to highlight the spun shade and add ambient glow.

What size is the Revolve Table Lamp?

How is the lamp turned on, and is it dimmable?

The Revolve uses a metal pull-chain switch hanging from the base — pull down once to turn on, again to turn off. It's a deliberate, tactile gesture that's part of the lamp's character. The switch is on/off only — not dimmable.

The lamp ships with a 150 cm / 59″ cord with a standard wall plug, so no hardwiring or wall switch is required. Just plug in, set on a surface, and pull the chain.

What kind of bulb does it use?

The Revolve takes three G9 bulbs (LED or Edison; not included). G9 is a compact bi-pin bulb commonly used in modern decorative lighting.

For the most flattering glow through the acrylic diffuser, we recommend warm-white G9 LED bulbs (2700K-3000K). Available at hardware stores, lighting suppliers, and online retailers like Amazon and Home Depot.

What does "spun metal" mean, and why is it called the Revolve?

Spun metal (also called metal spinning or spinning forming) is a traditional craft technique where a flat metal disc is rotated at high speed against a forming tool, gradually shaping it into a curved or domed profile. It's a craft method that dates back centuries and is still used for high-quality cookware, instruments, and lighting today.

The Revolve takes its name from this rotation — its sleek, slightly curved shade is the result of metal "revolving" against a forming mandrel. The name reflects the craftsmanship as much as the form.

Will the Blue or Green color match the photos exactly?

Likely close, but not always identical. The Revolve is finished with painted color in small batches, and dye variation between batches is normal in the painting process. Blue and Green in particular can shift slightly between production runs — sometimes a touch more saturated, sometimes a touch deeper.

Each unit is finish-checked before shipping, but slight tonal variation between an individual lamp and the website photos is part of authentic small-batch production and not considered a defect. How do I clean and care for the Revolve?

Wipe down with a soft, dry microfiber cloth every few weeks to keep the metal shade and acrylic diffuser dust-free. For minor marks, use a slightly damp cloth — never abrasive cleaners or solvents on the metal finish.

Minor scratches and patina marks that develop over years of use are part of the lamp's character by design — the Revolve is built to age and develop a unique story rather than stay factory-perfect.

Avoid placing in humid environments (bathrooms, near unvented stoves) or in direct sun for prolonged periods, which can affect the painted finish over time.

Where does the Revolve work best?

The Revolve is a statement tabletop lamp — its substantial scale and signature pull-chain make it best as a single anchor piece rather than a pair. Best placements:

Living room sideboard or console for a primary ambient light source.

What is the return and exchange policy?

Dekorfine offers a 30-day return policy on undamaged items in their original packaging. Slight color variation between batches for Blue and Green finishes is part of authentic small-batch production and is not eligible for return as a defect. This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
