The story

Three materials, one architectural line.

The Beacon's silhouette is built from three honest materials in tight conversation. A solid brass body — circular wall plate plus slim vertical bar — anchors the fixture and provides the warm metallic accent. Running parallel to the brass bar is a long fluted glass column: ribbed, transparent acrylic-and-glass that catches and refracts the light from inside the brass into a row of vertical highlights.

An integrated LED inside the brass bar provides clean, consistent warm-white light (no bulb to replace, no socket exposed). The result is a wall sconce that reads as architectural and intentional — a modern interpretation of a classic vertical lighting motif.

What size is the Beacon Wall Lamp, and how is it installed?

The Beacon measures L 4.7″ × W 4.7″ × H 19.7″ (L 12 × W 12 × H 50 cm). The vertical profile gives it a confident architectural read — best as a single accent piece or as a flanking pair on either side of a mirror, headboard, or doorway.

Installation is hardwired to a standard wall junction box. The circular backplate mounts flush against the wall, with the brass bar and fluted glass column extending down from it. Requires an external wall switch (not included). An electrician is recommended unless an existing wall J-box is already in place.

What is integrated LED, and can the bulb be replaced?

Integrated LED means the LED light source is built directly into the fixture — there's no separate bulb to insert, no socket exposed, and no light source to replace under normal use. Modern integrated LEDs are rated for 30,000 to 50,000 hours of use (roughly 25-40 years at 3 hours per day), so for the practical lifetime of the lamp, no replacement is needed.

The advantages are cleaner appearance (no visible bulb shape), better light distribution (the LED can be tuned to match the fixture's optics), lower energy use, and no heat-sensitive parts to worry about. The trade-off: if the LED ever does fail (rare but possible), the entire fixture would need servicing rather than a simple bulb swap.

The Beacon's integrated LED is warm-white for a flattering, candle-like glow.

What's the difference between Warm Light and Triac Warm Dimming?

The Beacon ships in two Kelvin range options — both emit the same warm-white color temperature, the difference is in dimming capability:

Warm Light: on/off only via a wall switch. The integrated LED runs at full brightness whenever powered. Most cost-effective option, ideal if you mostly use the lamp at full brightness or already have a non-dimming wall switch.
Triac Warm Dimming: internal LED driver supports dimming when paired with a compatible TRIAC (thyristor) wall dimmer. The driver is specifically tuned for TRIAC dimmers to give the smoothest dimming curve and best low-end performance.

Choose Triac Warm Dimming if you want to vary the mood — bright for evening reading, dim for late-night ambient — and budget for a TRIAC wall dimmer separately. Choose Warm Light if dimming isn't a priority.

What is a thyristor (TRIAC) dimmer, and why is it recommended?

TRIAC (Triode for Alternating Current), also called a thyristor dimmer, is a type of wall dimmer that controls light output by chopping the AC waveform — a method that's been used in dimming since the 1960s. It's the most common type of residential dimmer and the type most LED drivers are designed to work with.

The Beacon's Triac Warm Dimming version uses an LED driver specifically tuned for TRIAC/thyristor dimmers, so this pairing produces:

• Smooth, flicker-free dimming across the full range.
• Better low-end performance (the LED dims down to a soft glow rather than cutting out abruptly at 20% brightness).
• No buzzing or humming from the driver.

What does "fluted glass" mean, and is the column actually glass?

Fluted describes a surface with parallel vertical grooves or ridges — a classic decorative motif used on Greek columns, Art Deco architecture, and now in modern lighting design. The grooves catch and refract light, breaking what would be a flat surface into a row of vertical highlights.

The Beacon's column uses both glass and acrylic in its construction — the visible front face of the column is fluted glass for crisp light refraction, while structural elements use clear acrylic for weight and strength. The combination gives the column the visual appeal of solid glass with practical durability for wall mounting.

Where does the Beacon work best?

The Beacon's vertical, architectural profile works best in places where the long bar adds visual rhythm to the wall:

Bedside — paired flanking either side of a headboard for clean, modern symmetry.
Bathroom or vanity — flanking a mirror at face height for soft side-light without glare.
Hallways and corridors — single accent or evenly spaced sequence at intervals.
Stairwell — vertically aligned with the staircase rise.
Foyer or entryway — paired flanking the front door, or single beside a console.
Living-room flanking a fireplace, large mirror, or piece of art.

Pairs especially well with contemporary, transitional, Art Deco, modern luxe, and minimalist interiors. The brass version reads warmest; the black version is most graphic and architectural; the clear (all-glass) version reads most ethereal.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
