A pendant that takes its cues from organic, slightly imperfect forms — a softly rounded silhouette inspired by gourds and small spherical seedpods, gathered at the top into a cinched walnut wood cap and finished with a delicately ruffled hem at the base. Hand-tailored from natural fabric with subtle striped variation, the Dippa reads as warm, tactile, and quietly unique — equally at home above a kitchen island, a bedside, or clustered down a long stairwell.

The story

Inspired by organic seedpod forms.

The Dippa's silhouette borrows from gourds, small pumpkins, and seedpods — natural forms that are slightly imperfect, gently asymmetric, and softer than any geometric drawing. Each shade is hand-tailored from natural-fiber fabric, with vertical seams creating subtle ribbing that catches light from inside and casts a warm, candle-like glow when illuminated.

The fabric features a natural striped variation — alternating bands of cream and warm beige tones in the Beige finish (or paired with their respective hue families for the Walnut and Sage Green options). The weave is dense enough to diffuse the bulb cleanly, while remaining tactile and soft to the touch.

At the top, a solid walnut wood cap gathers the fabric into a clean cinched silhouette. A twisted brown fabric cord completes the composition — warm, considered, and unmistakably handcrafted.

What's the inspiration behind the silhouette?

The Dippa borrows its form from organic seedpod and gourd shapes — pumpkins, dippa fruit, and small spherical seedpods. Rather than a perfectly geometric sphere, it embraces a slightly imperfect, softly asymmetric silhouette that reads as tactile and natural.

The vertical seams in the fabric reinforce the gourd-like ribbing, while the cinched walnut cap at the top mirrors the way a real seedpod gathers at its stem. The ruffled hem at the base is a hand-finishing detail that adds craftsmanship character to a fixture that could otherwise read as plain.

What fabric colors are available?

Three fabric tones, all paired with the same walnut wood cap:

Beige: warm cream and tan stripes — the most universally pairable option, works with virtually any palette. Best for warm-neutral, cottage, Scandi, and modern farmhouse interiors.
Walnut: deeper warm-brown tones with subtle striping — richest and most grounding. Best for traditional, mid-century, and warm-toned rooms.

Will my Dippa look exactly like the photos?

Very close, but not always identical. Because each Dippa is hand-tailored, you may notice slight variations between your unit and the photos in:

• The stripe pattern alignment on the fabric.
• The exact gather pattern at the cinched top.
• The seam placement on the silhouette.
• Subtle shade variation in the dye tone (especially Sage Green).

These differences are part of authentic handcrafted production and are not considered defects. Each unit is finish-checked before shipping. What kind of bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?

The Dippa uses one E26 / E27 screw-base bulb (LED or Edison; not included). E26 in North America, E27 in Europe and the UK.

Because the fabric shade gently diffuses light from inside, vintage Edison-filament bulbs cast a particularly warm, candle-like glow that flatters the natural fiber. Warm-white LED Edison bulbs (2700K) are equally flattering and more efficient.

The fixture works with a common wall switch; for dimming, pair with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible LED-rated wall dimmer.

Where does the Dippa work best?

The Dippa's tactile, slightly organic character pairs effortlessly with warm-neutral, cottage, modern farmhouse, Scandi, Japandi, and nature-inspired interiors. Best placements:

How do I clean and care for the fabric shade?

Dust the fabric shade gently with a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner at low suction, or use a soft lint roller for surface dust. For stubborn marks, spot-clean with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then air-dry — never soak the fabric or use harsh cleaners.

Avoid placing in humid environments (poorly-ventilated bathrooms, near unvented stoves) — sustained humidity can affect the natural-fiber weave and the walnut cap finish over time.

The fabric will develop a soft, lived-in patina over the years — this is part of authentic natural-fiber aging.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
