Industrial elegance with a renter-friendly twist: a fully adjustable swing arm in brass and walnut wood directs warm light exactly where you need it — no electrician needed. The 150 cm cord plugs into any standard wall outlet, making the Kane ideal for reading nooks, workspaces, or bedside lighting in homes where hardwiring isn't an option.

Unlike traditional wall sconces, the Kane doesn't require hardwiring. Mount the wall plate using two screws into a stud or wall anchors, route the included 150 cm / 59″ cord down or to the side, and plug into a standard wall outlet. The inline push-button switch on the cord controls on/off.

Ideal for renters, dorm rooms, and any space without overhead wiring — or where you want sconce-style light without committing to a permanent install.

The story

An articulating reading companion.

The Kane brings together two warm, honest materials: a walnut wood wall plate grounds the fixture against the wall, while a brass swing arm articulates outward in two pivoting joints. Adjust the arm to direct light over a book, beside a bed, or onto a workspace — then fold flat against the wall when not in use. The look is simultaneously industrial and warm, at home in mid-century, modern farmhouse, transitional, and contemporary interiors.

How is this different from a hardwired wall lamp?

The Kane Plug-In is built specifically for installations without a wall junction box. Instead of routing wires through the wall, the lamp ships with a 150 cm / 59″ cord with switch plug that runs from the lamp body down or to the side, plugging into any standard wall outlet.

This makes the Kane ideal for: renters (no electrical work, no permanent modification), spaces without overhead wiring, or rooms where you want a sconce exactly where the wall has no junction box. Mount the wall plate with two screws into a stud or drywall anchors, then plug in.

How is the swing arm adjusted?

The Kane has two articulating pivot joints along the brass arm — one near the wall plate and one near the shade. Each joint pivots smoothly with friction tension that holds the position without locking. To adjust:

• Extend outward fully (W 69 cm / 27.2″) when reading at a chair or working at a desk.
• Fold flat against the wall when not in use, for a slim profile.
• Direct the shade up, down, or sideways to focus light exactly where needed.

The joints are sized to hold position under the weight of a standard E26/E27 bulb without drift.

What kind of bulb does it use, and can I dim it?

One E26 / E27 screw-base bulb (LED or Edison; not included). E26 in North America, E27 in Europe. Warm-white LED at 2700K is recommended for a flattering reading light.

The lamp is not dimmable — the inline push-button switch is on/off only. For adjustable brightness, use a smart plug with built-in dimming between the cord and outlet, or choose a smart bulb with phone-app control.

What's included in the box?

Included: the lamp body (walnut wall plate, brass swing arm with two pivot joints, brass shade), 150 cm / 59″ cord with inline push-button switch and standard plug, and basic mounting hardware (screws + drywall anchors).

Not included: E26/E27 bulb (please order separately) and any decorative styling props (books, plants, vases, etc.) shown in lifestyle photos.

Where does the Kane work best?

The Kane's adjustable arm and warm walnut-and-brass palette make it especially well-suited as a functional accent. Best placements: beside a bed (one per side replaces or supplements a bedside lamp and frees nightstand space), beside a reading chair, over a home-office desk, in a hallway gallery wall, or above a writing desk in a study.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Submit an inquiry to support@dekorfine.com including your reason for return.
We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
