Will this flush mount work on a low ceiling under 8 feet?

Yes — that's exactly what the Asher is designed for. The shallow version (H 3.1″ / 8 cm) sits close to the ceiling with minimal drop, making it a clean solution for hallways, compact bedrooms, and kitchens with low ceilings. The taller version (H 5.9″ / 15 cm) suits spaces with 9 ft or higher ceilings where a slightly more substantial silhouette is welcome.

Which size is better for a kitchen or bedroom?

Both sizes share the same 5.5-inch (14 cm) diameter and 7 W output, so light coverage is equivalent. The shorter H 3.1″ reads as more architectural and low-profile — better for hallways and tight secondary spaces. The taller H 5.9″ has a more deliberate, cylindrical presence that works well as a minimalist ceiling fixture in bedrooms and kitchens. Choose by ceiling height and how prominent you want the fitting to appear.

Is the Asher compatible with US wiring and dimmer switches?

Yes, the Asher runs on AC 110–240 V and installs to a standard US junction box. It works with a conventional on/off wall switch. The integrated LED module is not dimmable by default — if dimming is required for your project, please contact us before ordering.

How does the Cream color look in person — is it white or more beige?

The Cream finish is a warm off-white — closer to a biscuit or linen tone than pure white. It reads as cream in natural daylight and picks up a little warmth under incandescent or warm LED light, which is part of what makes it pair so well with Japandi, warm minimalist, and modern farmhouse interiors. If you need a crisp true-white look, the Cream may read too warm.

Can I use the Asher in a bathroom or damp location?

The Asher is rated for indoor dry locations only. It is not IP-rated for damp or wet environments and should not be installed in direct shower zones, above a bathtub, or in outdoor-covered areas. It works well in a bathroom vanity area away from direct moisture.

Refund & Exchange, considered with care.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Refund
Eligibility

What qualifies for a full refund.

Eligible — we cover 100% of costs

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Submit an inquiry to support@dekorfine.com including your reason for return.
We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and the refund hasn't arrived, please write to support@dekorfine.com and we'll look into it.
