Important No. The Leo's mounting plate is solid metal with through-screws, not a hollow canopy — there's no internal cavity to enclose a junction box or splice cluster. It is not designed for installation over a standard electrical J-box.

Compatible installations include: an exposed wire stub coming directly out of the wall, a surface-mounted plug-in adapter (sourced separately), or a professional electrician's modification to bring the wires directly into the plate without a J-box behind it.

The Leo is purpose-built as a bedside reading lamp or focused task light. The flexible gooseneck lets you direct the LED exactly toward your book or laptop, while the compound lens softens the beam so it reads as a comfortable pool of warm light rather than a sharp spotlight.

Best placements: headboard wall beside a bed (one per side, or one on a single side); above a reading chair; beside a writing desk; in a study or library nook; or as a guestroom bedside lamp where you don't want a tabletop fixture taking up nightstand space.

Less suited as a primary ambient or general-room light — the beam is contained, not broad.

The Leo measures W 13.8″ × H 4.7″ (W 35 × H 12 cm) at its full extended reach (the gooseneck flexes, so the actual footprint depends on how you bend the arm). The wall plate is a low-profile rectangular shape that sits flush against the wall.

Note: the Black finish has a slightly different body appearance than the Brushed Bronze and Sand Nickel finishes — both are detailed in the size diagrams above.

The Leo has a built-in push-button switch directly on the mounting plate — no separate wall switch is required. Press the button to turn the lamp on or off. This makes it ideal for bedside use where a separate wall switch may not be reachable from the bed.

The switch is on/off only — not dimmable. The fixture is hardwired into power that runs continuously to the plate.

The light source is an integrated LED with a compound lens — no bulb to install or swap. The lens softens the beam to a comfortable, glare-free wash for reading. Output is a warm white tone designed for evening and bedside use.

The fixture is not dimmable — the built-in switch is on/off only. Because the LED is built in, the lamp is also not designed to work with external dimmers.

Brushed Bronze: warm, slightly aged bronze with a soft hand-brushed sheen. Pairs with walnut, leather, cream, and warm-neutral interiors.
Sand Nickel: muted matte nickel with subtle warm undertones. Pairs with grey, taupe, beige, and transitional interiors.
Black: matte black with a graphic, contemporary read. The Black version has a slightly different body shape than the Bronze and Nickel versions — see the dimension diagrams above.
