Does this plug-in wall lamp need an electrician to install?

No — that's the main advantage of this sconce. The plug-in design means you mount the back plate to the wall with screws (no junction box required), plug the 59″ cord into any standard outlet, and you're done. It's an ideal no-hardwiring wall light for renters, apartments, and anyone who wants flexibility to reposition the lamp later.

What G9 bulb should I use, and is it included?

The G9 bulb is not included and must be purchased separately. A G9 LED capsule (3–5 W, warm white 2700 K) is recommended — it runs cool, lasts longer, and produces the softest glow through the resin shade. G9 Edison-style bulbs also work and give a warmer, more amber tint. Avoid halogen G9s in this fitting as they run very hot. See our G9 bulb guide for more detail.

Can I hide the cord against the wall so it's less visible?

Yes. The lamp ships with a white 150 cm / 59″ cord that blends easily against light-colored walls. For a cleaner look, adhesive cord channels (raceway covers, available at hardware stores) let you run the cord flush along the wall and baseboard. If 59″ isn't enough reach to your nearest outlet, cord extension is available — contact us before ordering.

Where does this wall sconce work best in a room?

The Pleated Resin sconce is proportioned for intimate spaces. It works beautifully as a bedside wall lamp flanking a headboard, as a reading light in a hallway alcove, or as accent lighting in a living room corner. Mount the center of the shade at roughly eye level when seated (about 60–66″ from the floor) for the most comfortable reading light.

Is this lamp compatible with US outlets and dimmers?

Yes, the lamp runs on AC 110–240 V and plugs into any standard US outlet. The built-in push button switch controls on/off. Dimming is not supported — the push button is a simple toggle, not a dimmer. If you need dimming capability, a dimmable G9 bulb paired with a plug-in dimmer adapter (inline cord dimmer) may work depending on the bulb — test before permanent installation.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
