The story

Brass, ceramic, glass.

The Vico draws on a single botanical reference — the gingko tree, prized for over 200 million years for its distinctive fan-shaped leaves and resilience as a "living fossil." The chandelier translates that into three honest materials: a brass armature branches outward like a pruned canopy, hand-finished white ceramic gingko leaves scatter along the branches like fresh growth, and soft glass globes at the tips house G9 bulbs that wash the form in warm ambient light.

The result is sculptural by day, lantern-quiet when illuminated — equally at home as a dining-room focal point or a foyer statement.

How do I choose between 6, 8, 9, or 12 lights?

All four configurations share the same materials and gingko-leaf detailing — the difference is canopy diameter, drop height, and brightness:

6 Heads (∅ 60 cm / 23.6″ · H 38 cm · 30 cm rod): Best for bedrooms, breakfast nooks, smaller dining tables, and 8-foot ceilings.
8 Heads (∅ 80 cm / 31.5″ · H 38 cm · 30 cm rod): Best for standard dining rooms, living rooms, and standard 8–9-foot ceilings.
9 Heads (∅ 80 cm / 31.5″ · H 58 cm · 50 cm rod): Same diameter as 8 heads but taller multi-tier silhouette. Best for tall ceilings, stairwells, and rooms wanting more vertical drama.
12 Heads (∅ 98 cm / 38.6″ · H 58 cm · 50 cm rod): Grand statement scale. Best for foyers, double-height rooms, and large dining tables.

For a dining table, choose a chandelier roughly 1/2 to 2/3 the table's narrow dimension; for a foyer, choose one that's 2 inches in diameter for every 1 ft of room width.

What's the inspiration behind the gingko design?

The gingko tree (Ginkgo biloba) is one of the oldest living plant species — often called a "living fossil" because its lineage dates back over 200 million years. It's prized for its distinctive fan-shaped leaves, brilliant golden autumn color, and remarkable resilience (gingkos famously survived the 1945 Hiroshima blast within meters of ground zero).

The Vico translates that natural form into hand-finished white ceramic leaves scattered along the brass branches — bringing a sense of timeless, resilient nature into the room.

What kind of bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?

Each glass globe takes one G9 bi-pin bulb (LED or halogen; not included). G9 is a small, two-pin base common across European chandeliers and increasingly available in North America. The bulb count varies by configuration: 6, 8, 9, or 12 G9 bulbs total.

Recommended: warm-white G9 LED bulbs (2700K), ~3-4W each, for an even, flattering glow. Dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a compatible LED-rated wall dimmer.

What does IP20 mean for installation?

IP20 means the fixture is protected against solid objects larger than 12 mm but has no protection against water. The Vico is rated for indoor dry locations only — living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, foyers, hallways.

It is not suitable for: bathrooms (especially over baths/showers), unconditioned outdoor porches, screen rooms exposed to humidity, or any environment with sustained moisture.

Where does the Vico work best?

The Vico's brass-and-ceramic-and-glass blend pairs effortlessly with contemporary, transitional, modern luxe, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, and warm-traditional interiors. As a single statement piece: dining tables, living rooms, foyers, stairwell landings, primary bedrooms, and hotel-style suites.

Pairs especially well with cream walls, oak and walnut wood, marble counters, velvet upholstery, and warm-neutral palettes.

What is the return and exchange policy?

Dekorfine offers a 30-day return policy on undamaged items in their original packaging. Because the ceramic gingko leaves are hand-finished, slight variations in leaf shape, surface, and tone between units are part of authentic handcrafted production and not eligible for return as defects.

Refund & Exchange, considered with care.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Eligible — we cover 100% of costs

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
