A table lamp where the bulbs are the design — a single solid block of optical crystal, drilled with cylindrical wells that house clear E14 filament bulbs upright like specimens, set on a polished brass base. The crystal magnifies and refracts each bulb's golden filament glow into a small captive sun.

Two distinct forms: a compact cube with four bulbs in a single layer, or a taller cylinder with eight bulbs stacked across two levels.

The story

An ice cube, holding its own light.

The Glaçon takes its name from the French word for ice cube — and the lamp delivers on the metaphor literally. The crystal mass is cut from a single solid block of optical crystal, then precision-drilled with cylindrical wells just wide enough to receive the filament bulbs. There's no diffuser, no shade, no concealment — the filament bulbs themselves are the visible centerpiece, captured upright in the crystal like specimens preserved in clear ice.

When lit, the crystal mass magnifies and refracts each filament's warm golden glow, scattering it sideways into the body of the lamp and outward through every polished face. The result is a piece that reads as a small piece of architectural sculpture — equally striking lit or unlit, on or off. Pairs effortlessly with modern luxe, contemporary, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, transitional, and warm-eclectic interiors.

What kind of bulb gives it the iconic look?

The Glaçon's effect depends almost entirely on bulb choice — pick clear (non-frosted) E14 LED filament bulbs. The visible filament is the design centerpiece; frosted bulbs hide the filament and ruin the captured-bulb effect.

Recommended specs: clear E14 LED filament tubular ("T") shape, 2700K-3000K warm white, around 4-6W (40-60W incandescent equivalent). Search for "E14 tubular filament LED" or "E14 candle filament LED clear" at any major lighting retailer.

Cube needs 4 bulbs · Cylinder needs 8 bulbs. Buy enough to populate every well — empty wells are visible through the crystal.

What's the difference between Cube and Cylinder?

The two sizes are distinct sculptural forms, not just dimensional scaling:

The Cube (15.5 × 15.5 × 17.5 cm · 4 bulbs): a compact square block with bulbs in a single 2×2 layer. Reads as a quiet jewel-like object — best at bedside, on a console, or as a generous gift.

The Cylinder (12 × 10 × 39 cm · 8 bulbs): a taller column with bulbs stacked across two layers (4 + 4). Reads as architectural statement — best on a wider console, sideboard, or entry table where the height can be appreciated.

Both share the same crystal and brass material vocabulary; the choice comes down to whether you want a quiet jewel or a tall statement.

How is it controlled — and is it dimmable?

Push-button switch on the cord — toe-tap or hand-tap to turn on or off. The lamp ships with a 150 cm / 59″ cord and switch plug ready for a standard wall outlet.

The lamp itself is not dimmable. For ambiance variation, use dimmable E14 LED filament bulbs paired with a plug-in dimmer module (or smart bulbs with app-based dimming) — at lower brightness, the Glaçon looks especially atmospheric, like banked candles in glass.

How do I clean the crystal?

Optical crystal stays brilliant only if dust-free. Switch off and let cool, then wipe down all faces of the crystal with a soft microfiber cloth — slightly dampened with distilled water for stubborn smudges.

For deep cleaning, use a 50/50 distilled water + isopropyl alcohol mix applied to the cloth (never sprayed directly onto the lamp). Avoid abrasive cleaners or paper towels which can scratch the polished surfaces. To clean inside the bulb wells, remove the bulbs and use a soft cotton swab.

Where does it work best?

The Glaçon is a focal-point sculpture lamp — best where it can be seen up close in 360° and where its captive-bulb effect can register:

Cube: bedside table, executive desk corner, dressing-table accent, dining sideboard at place-setting eye level.
Cylinder: entryway console, hallway accent, sideboard pair flanking artwork, lounge end-table at sofa-arm height.

Reflective surfaces under the lamp (polished marble, mirror, glass tabletop) double the visual effect by bouncing the captured-bulb pattern downward.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.
