The Leo pairs a low-profile rectangular wall plate with an adjustable gooseneck arm and a cylindrical LED head — bend it where you need it, click the built-in switch, and a generous wash of warm light falls exactly where you point it. Important The Leo does not include a standard ceiling/wall canopy and is not designed to install over a junction box (J-box). Its mounting plate is solid metal with through-screws, not a hollow canopy — there's no internal cavity to enclose a J-box or splice cluster.

Because this fixture pulls power directly through the mounting plate, you'll need either: (1) an exposed power source nearby (such as the existing wall lamp's wire stub), or (2) a wall installation where wires can be brought directly to the plate without an intermediate J-box.

Please confirm your wall setup before ordering, especially in North America where most homes pre-install electrical J-boxes for sconces. If you're not sure, send us a photo of your existing wall outlet and we'll confirm compatibility within 24 hours.

The Leo is purpose-built as a bedside reading lamp or focused task light — bend the gooseneck to direct the LED toward your book or laptop, click the inline switch, and you've got a contained pool of warm light without disturbing your partner. The compound lens softens the LED's intensity, so it reads as a comfortable, glare-free wash rather than a sharp spotlight.

Equally at home above a reading chair, beside a writing desk, in a study or library nook, or as a guestroom bedside lamp. Less suited as a primary ambient or general-room light.

The mounting plate has its own push-button on/off switch — control the lamp directly at the wall plate without a separate wall switch. Not dimmable.

Integrated LED

Light source is a built-in LED with a compound lens — no bulb to install or replace. Hours of useful life rated for years of nightly reading.

Does the Leo install over a standard J-box / wall canopy?

Important No. The Leo's mounting plate is solid metal with through-screws, not a hollow canopy — there's no internal cavity to enclose a junction box or splice cluster. It is not designed for installation over a standard electrical J-box.

Compatible installations include: an exposed wire stub coming directly out of the wall, a surface-mounted plug-in adapter (sourced separately), or a professional electrician's modification to bring the wires directly into the plate without a J-box behind it.

Most North American homes have pre-installed J-boxes for sconces, so please confirm your wall setup before ordering. Send us a photo of the existing wall outlet and we'll confirm compatibility within 24 hours at support@dekorfine.com.

Where does the Leo work best?

The Leo is purpose-built as a bedside reading lamp or focused task light. The flexible gooseneck lets you direct the LED exactly toward your book or laptop, while the compound lens softens the beam so it reads as a comfortable pool of warm light rather than a sharp spotlight.

Best placements: headboard wall beside a bed (one per side, or one on a single side); above a reading chair; beside a writing desk; in a study or library nook; or as a guestroom bedside lamp where you don't want a tabletop fixture taking up nightstand space.

Less suited as a primary ambient or general-room light — the beam is contained, not broad.

What size is the Leo?

The Leo measures W 13.8″ × H 4.7″ (W 35 × H 12 cm) at its full extended reach (the gooseneck flexes, so the actual footprint depends on how you bend the arm). The wall plate is a low-profile rectangular shape that sits flush against the wall.

Note: the Black finish has a slightly different body appearance than the Brushed Bronze and Sand Nickel finishes — both are detailed in the size diagrams above.

Does it have its own switch, or do I need a wall switch?

The Leo has a built-in push-button switch directly on the mounting plate — no separate wall switch is required. Press the button to turn the lamp on or off. This makes it ideal for bedside use where a separate wall switch may not be reachable from the bed.

The switch is on/off only — not dimmable. The fixture is hardwired into power that runs continuously to the plate.

Is the LED dimmable, and how warm is the light?

The light source is an integrated LED with a compound lens — no bulb to install or swap. The lens softens the beam to a comfortable, glare-free wash for reading. Output is a warm white tone designed for evening and bedside use.

The fixture is not dimmable — the built-in switch is on/off only. Because the LED is built in, the lamp is also not designed to work with external dimmers.

What's the difference between the three finishes?

Brushed Bronze: warm, slightly aged bronze with a soft hand-brushed sheen. Pairs with walnut, leather, cream, and warm-neutral interiors.
Sand Nickel: muted matte nickel with subtle warm undertones. Pairs with grey, taupe, beige, and transitional interiors.
Black: matte black with a graphic, contemporary read. The Black version has a slightly different body shape than the Bronze and Nickel versions — see the dimension diagrams above.

What is the return and exchange policy?

Dekorfine offers a 30-day return policy on undamaged items in their original packaging. Important Returns due to J-box incompatibility are the customer's responsibility — please confirm your wall setup before ordering.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
