THE DESIGN

A brass arc, a wooden cap — a quiet line on the wall.

A small circular brass plate anchors the fixture to the wall; from it rises a slender, gracefully arched brass arm that ends in a turned wooden head, tilted downward by design. The integrated LED inside the wood casts a warm, focused pool of light — enough to read by from a bedside, light a passage in a hallway, or graze the surface of a framed artwork as a picture light alternative wall sconce. The mix of brass and wood reads soft and quiet at any hour: contemporary against painted plaster, rustic next to exposed wood, neutral enough to live in either room as a bedside wall light hardwired directly into the wall.

What height should I install this above a bed or reading chair?

For bedside reading, the wood head should sit roughly 12–16 in (30–40 cm) above the mattress when you're sitting up to read — typically that means mounting the wall plate around 50–60 in (127–152 cm) from the floor, depending on your bed and headboard height. Beside a reading chair, plan for the head to sit about 6 in (15 cm) above shoulder height.

Does it need an electrician to install?

Yes. The Terence is a hardwired wall sconce — it connects directly to your wall's electrical supply through a standard junction box and is controlled by an external wall switch. In the US, hardwired fixtures typically require a licensed electrician to connect safely. The installation guide (download above) provides full wiring details for your installer.

Can it work as a picture light over framed artwork?

Yes — the downward-tilted wooden head and 20 cm (7.9″) forward reach put the light beam onto the surface of a frame, which is exactly how a picture light works. For best results, mount the wall plate roughly centered above the frame, with the arch projecting out so the head sits just above the top of the artwork.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the wooden head and rated for long-life use under normal household conditions, so it isn't user-replaceable. If a unit fails within the warranty window, contact us with your order number and we'll arrange a replacement.

Will it work on my US 120V circuit?

Yes. The driver is universal AC 110–240V and the fixture is approved for North America, the EU, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. It mounts to a standard US wall junction box with the supplied hardware.

Refund & Exchange, considered with care.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Eligibility

What qualifies for a full refund.

Eligible — we cover 100% of costs

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Submit an inquiry to support@dekorfine.com including your reason for return.
We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.
