The Citrine Dome takes a wide, shallow bowl of glossy yellow glass — warm and characterful — and pairs it with gold metal detailing and a vintage-style twisted fabric cord. The dome's 9.8-inch spread casts generous downlighting directly below, making it well-suited for kitchen islands, breakfast nooks, reading corners, and bar carts where a single well-placed pendant should do most of the heavy lifting. How high should I hang this pendant over a kitchen island?

For a kitchen island or countertop, hang the bottom of the shade 28–34 inches above the work surface. This puts the dome low enough for focused downlight and high enough to avoid blocking sight lines. The standard 59-inch cord gives plenty of drop from a typical 9-foot ceiling; for higher ceilings, contact us for an extended cord before ordering.

Can I cluster multiple pendants over a longer island?

Yes — the Citrine Dome works well in groups. For a kitchen island of 60 inches or longer, two pendants spaced 24–30 inches apart give even coverage and a pleasing rhythm. For a very long island (84+ inches), three pendants create a strong visual sequence. Space them evenly and hang at the same height for the most polished look. Each pendant needs its own canopy and ceiling junction box connection.

Will the yellow glass work with my kitchen's existing color palette?

The yellow glass is a warm, glossy amber-yellow — it reads as a deliberate color accent rather than a neutral. It pairs naturally with white subway tile, natural wood countertops, brass or black hardware, and terracotta-toned walls. It also works well as a contrast accent in an all-white or grey kitchen where one warm focal point is the design goal. In black or very dark kitchens, the yellow reads as a warm glow against the moody backdrop.

Does this pendant work with a dimmer switch?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the E26/E27 bulb you install. If you use a dimmable LED bulb with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch, the pendant will dim smoothly. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail with a dimmer — always confirm your bulb is labeled "dimmable" before connecting it to a dimmer circuit. The fixture hardware itself is dimmer-neutral.

Can the cord length be extended for a high ceiling?

Yes — the standard twisted cord is 150 cm (59 inches), which suits most ceilings up to 10 feet. For ceilings above 10 feet, or if you want to hang the pendant lower than the cord allows, contact us before ordering with your ceiling height and desired drop length. Extended cords in the same vintage twisted style are available on request.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Eligibility

What qualifies for a full refund.

Eligible — we cover 100% of costs

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and the refund hasn't arrived, please write to support@dekorfine.com and we'll look into it.
