A portable rechargeable lamp that pairs a richly veined Calacatta Viola marble cylinder with a soft scalloped fabric shade — the natural stone's purple-grey veining contrasting against the rippled silhouette of the cream textile.

The story

A small, weighted monument with a soft cap.

The Kane pairs two iconic materials into a portable form. The base is solid Calacatta Viola marble — a striking Italian variety prized for its bold purple-grey veins running through a creamy white background, like watercolor washes through stone. Above it, a scalloped fabric shade with vertical pleats forms a wavy, lobed silhouette that softens the architecture below.

The cordless rechargeable battery means the Kane moves freely — bedside one night, dining table the next, balcony or reading chair after that. Pairs effortlessly with contemporary, modern luxe, transitional, neoclassical, and warm-eclectic interiors.

Three things to protect your battery.

Use included cable

Use only the 5W cable in the box.

Do NOT use 50W or 100W phone chargers. The Kane's battery is engineered for the supplied 5V/2A cable; high-current chargers may damage the battery or shorten lifespan.

Don't keep plugged in

Avoid permanent plug-in use.

Leaving the Kane continuously plugged in can cause the lithium battery to bulge or lose capacity over time. For the best lifespan, charge to full, unplug, and use cordlessly until depleted.

Replacement available

Battery is replaceable.

If the battery shows swelling, reduced runtime, or other signs of wear, replacement service is available — contact support@dekorfine.com with your order number to arrange.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?

Real-world tested runtime is 7-9+ hours, depending on the brightness mode used. At maximum brightness, expect roughly 3 hours; at minimum brightness, the lamp can run continuously for around 10 hours. Full charge takes 2-3 hours using the included cable.

Can I leave it plugged in all the time?

Not recommended. Continuous plug-in use can cause the lithium-ion battery to bulge or lose capacity over time. For the longest battery life, charge to full, unplug, and run cordlessly until depleted before recharging.

Can I charge it with my phone charger?

No — only use the included 5V/2A cable.

The Kane's battery is rated for the supplied 5W charging cable. Using high-current chargers (50W, 100W phone chargers, fast-charge bricks) can damage the battery or shorten its lifespan. The included cable is the only safe option.

Why does my marble base look different from the photo?

Calacatta Viola is a natural Italian marble — every cylinder is cut from a different block, with its own purple-grey vein patterns, color depth, and inclusion details. No two bases are identical, and your lamp will be slightly different from the photographs shown. This is part of the material's character, not a defect.

Is it dimmable?

The touch switch is on/off only — there is no continuous brightness slider built into the lamp.

What's the return policy?

30-day return policy on undamaged items in original packaging. Because the integrated LED and battery are factory-sealed components, please test full functionality during the return window. Contact support@dekorfine.com for returns or questions.

Refund & Exchange, considered with care.

This policy applies to all lighting fixtures sold on dekorfine.com worldwide. You have 30 calendar days from receiving your item to request a return — the terms below keep every case fair for both sides.

The 30-Day
Window

Thirty days, simply stated.

You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date — verified by carrier tracking — to request a return or exchange. Items must be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Who pays return shipping

Quality or transport issue — we cover free return and exchange, including shipping.
Personal preference — if the fixture simply isn't right for you, return shipping is your responsibility. Rates vary by carrier.

Common consumer reasons: the product didn't meet expectations, sizing concerns, color preferences, change of mind, wrong item or quantity ordered, or overlooked product specifications.

Please inspect your order on arrival. If anything is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact support@dekorfine.com immediately so we can make it right.

Eligibility

What qualifies for a full refund.

Eligible — we cover 100% of costs

Product damaged due to quality defects or transit.
Unused items returned within the 30-day window.
Any item returned to sender undelivered.
Any item not delivered within 90 days.

Not eligible for return or exchange

Items returned outside the 30-day window.
Orders or items valued at $5,000 or more.
Bespoke, custom, or special-order products made to your specifications.
Light bulbs.
Products not in original condition or packaging.
Bulk orders — three or more of the same product. For large orders we recommend purchasing a single item first to confirm fit.

For items not eligible for refund, customers are responsible for return shipping. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Cancellation
& EU Terms

Canceling an order.

Cancellations are possible within 3 days of order confirmation. Once this window closes, if the order hasn't shipped yet, contact us — we may still be able to help. Once the package is in transit, orders cannot be canceled.

If you insist on canceling after shipment, a 30%–50% fee (warehousing, order processing, and shipping costs) will be deducted from your refund. Please review your order carefully before confirming.

European Union — 14-day cooling-off

Orders shipped to the EU may be canceled or returned within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must still be unused, with original tags and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Submit an inquiry to support@dekorfine.com including your reason for return.
We confirm the refund amount based on your reason and the items in your order.
We provide the return address and shipment labeling instructions. Refunds require these instructions to be followed.
You ship at your own cost. We do not cover return shipping or supply prepaid labels. Please include your order confirmation email inside the package.
Notify us by email once shipped, and share the tracking number if available.
We process your return within 3–5 business days of receipt.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original, and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement.

Refund
Timing

Refunds, honestly timed.

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund is approved. If approved, funds return automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Bear in mind that your bank or card issuer may need additional time to process and post the refund on their end.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and the refund hasn't arrived, please write to support@dekorfine.com and we'll look into it.
