Ceiling height requirement: At H 180 cm, the Spiral Branches requires a minimum finished ceiling height of approximately 14 ft (427 cm) to hang safely above head height, assuming standard wire and clearance. What ceiling height does the Spiral Branches Chandelier require?

At H 180 cm, the fixture requires a minimum finished ceiling height of approximately 14 ft (427 cm) for comfortable head clearance when hung at a standard drop. For foyer and stairwell applications where the bottom of the fixture can extend below the primary walking level, lower ceilings can work — measure your specific space and contact us to confirm. Wire length is extendable on request.

How many G9 bulbs does this chandelier use, and what wattage is recommended?

The Spiral Branches uses 20 × G9 bi-pin sockets distributed across the full height of the coiling branch form. For a warm, rich glow that flatters the brass and crystal, G9 LED bulbs at 2700 K in the 3–5W range per socket provide excellent coverage without overheating. Bulbs are not included — they are available at most lighting and hardware retailers.

Is the Spiral Branches Chandelier suitable for a stairwell?

Yes — the vertical column form makes it one of the most natural stairwell chandelier choices. At 90 cm wide it fits standard stairwell openings without overcrowding. Mount from the highest point of the stair ceiling so the cascading branches descend alongside the stair run. Contact us with your stair dimensions for a wire-length recommendation before ordering.

Does the chandelier require professional installation?

Yes. At this weight and scale, professional installation by a licensed electrician is strongly recommended. The ceiling junction box must be rated for a heavy fixture — most standard boxes are not. Share the Installation Guide (download above) with your electrician before work begins.

Can I use a dimmer switch with this chandelier?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the G9 bulbs you choose and your wall dimmer model. Use dimmable G9 LED bulbs paired with a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer for the smoothest results across all 20 sockets. Confirm your bulbs are labelled dimmable before purchasing — non-dimmable LEDs may flicker or fail early on a dimmer circuit.
