Bexley Alabaster Wall Sconce.
Crafted from interlocking panels of hand-carved natural alabaster anchored by circular brushed brass studs, this organic modern wall light diffuses a rich, ethereal ambient glow that highlights the stone’s unique mineral veining. Designed as a dynamic architectural statement, this artistic sconce effortlessly elevates powder room vanities, moody hallway galleries, grand entryway alcoves and cozy bedside retreats across modern transitional interiors.

Details, on the record.
Questions, answered.
Which model should I choose?
Model A (∅ 15″ × H 7.9″) has a wide, low profile that sits beautifully above a powder room vanity or beside a bed. Model B (∅ 10.2″ × H 13.4″) is taller and slimmer – a strong vertical accent for hallway galleries, entryway alcoves and stairwells. Mount a pair of either model to frame a mirror, console or headboard.
How high should I mount it?
For general use, mount the center of the sconce around eye level, roughly 150–165 cm / 59–65″ from the floor. Beside a vanity mirror, keep the sconces about 36–40″ apart at roughly face height; as a bedside light, place it so the bottom sits about 15–25 cm / 6–10″ above the top of the mattress. It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box and controlled by an external wall switch (not included). We recommend installation by a licensed electrician.
Do I need to buy bulbs?
No – this sconce uses an integrated LED light source built into the fixture, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. The light glows softly through the hand-carved alabaster, bringing out the stone’s natural mineral veining.
How do I care for the alabaster?
Alabaster is a soft, porous natural stone – clean it with a soft, dry cloth only and never use water, sprays or cleaning products, which can mark or dull the surface. Wipe the brass studs with a soft, dry cloth as well. Switch off at the wall and let the fixture cool first. Natural veining and tonal variations in the stone are part of its character, not a defect.

finished by hand.
Alabaster is a mineral first worked by the Egyptians and Greeks — prized then, as now, for its translucency and quiet grain. Each of our fixtures begins as a block of raw stone and ends in a fixture that glows as if lit from inside the earth itself.
A material that changes a room.
Synthetic shades mimic the look. Alabaster is the look. Semi-translucent, naturally warm, and quietly alive — it softens the light passing through it and fills a space with the kind of glow that makes people slow down.
To work with alabaster is to follow the stone — not force it. Each block tells the carver where the light wants to go.
Four steps from
quarry to fixture.
Every alabaster piece passes through the same four hands — cutting, shaping, drilling, finishing. What arrives at your door carries the trace of all of them.
Cutting
Raw blocks are scored and cut on precision stone saws — every dimension traced from the original design, every grain of the stone respected.
Shaping
Complex curves are turned on lathes and carved by hand. Each fixture's silhouette is coaxed from the stone rather than imposed on it.
Drilling
Concealed channels are drilled for wiring and concealed hardware — invisible in the finished piece, but critical to the clean line.
Finishing
Polished to a soft lustre or honed to matte — whichever brings the stone's veining forward without overpowering it.
For every
room, every wall.
From pendant to sconce, table to ceiling — the alabaster collection is designed to layer light at every height in a room.
