Ist dies eine wiederaufladbare / kabellose Leuchte?
Nein — diese Leuchte ist nicht wiederaufladbar und enthält keinen Akku. Das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel ist ein Stromkabel, keine Ladestation. Die Leuchte muss an eine betriebene USB-Stromquelle (USB-Wandadapter, Computer-Port oder Powerbank) angeschlossen bleiben, um zu funktionieren.
Stellen Sie sich vor, es handelt sich um eine Niedervoltversion eines klassischen Stecker-Lampenkabels – der USB-A-Stecker macht es einfach, in moderne USB-Steckdosen, USB-Wandleisten und Reiseadapter weltweit anzuschließen, ohne dass Sie einen regionsspezifischen Stecker benötigen.
Wenn Sie das Gerät an einem Ort ohne nahegelegene USB-Steckdose verwenden möchten, benötigen Sie einen USB-A-Wandnetzadapter (separat erhältlich, weit verbreitet, ca. 5–10 €), der in eine Standard-Wandsteckdose gesteckt wird.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen den beiden Größen?
Beide Größen zeichnen sich durch die gleiche Ästhetik mit gerilltem Schirm auf gedrechseltem Holzfuß und das gleiche E26-/E27-Leuchtmittel aus. Der Unterschied liegt nur in der Höhe:
Klein (∅ 10,2″ × H 9,8″ / Dia 26 × H 25 cm): Ideal für Nachttische, Frisiertische und Konsolen, wo ein niedriges, intimes Lampenprofil ausgewogen wirkt.
Mittel (∅ 10,8″ × H 12,6″ / Dia 27,5 × H 32 cm): Etwas höher – ideal für Beistelltische neben einem Sofa, Eingangskommoden und Konsolentische, wo der Schirm näher an Augenhöhe im Sitzen sein soll.
Kann ich die Vintage Fluted Lamp dimmen?
Nein – der integrierte Druckschalter am USB-Kabel ist nur ein Ein-/Ausschalter. Selbst eine dimmbare LED-Leuchtmittel in der Fassung wird nicht dimmbar, da der Schalter Vollstrom oder Nullstrom durchlässt.
Wenn Sie eine verstellbare Farbtemperatur wünschen, wählen Sie eine Leuchtmittel mit integrierter Dimmfunktion (einige intelligente Leuchtmittel bieten Warmweiß-zu-Kaltweiß-Abstimmung über eine App, unabhängig vom integrierten Schalter).

Easy shade assembly guide
Your pleated shade arrives flat-packed to keep it safe in transit. A few simple steps turn it into your own handmade shade – and it’s surprisingly relaxing.
Step 1 Lay out the shade frame and the folded pleated fabric
Step 2 Hook the fabric’s built-in clips over the top ring
Step 3 Keep clipping the pleats all the way round the ring
Step 4 Join the two ends – your pleated shade is ready

Unpack the parts
Open the box and take out the white metal shade frame and the folded pleated fabric shade.

Clip the top edge
Wearing clean gloves is a good idea. Line up the top edge of the fabric with the frame’s top ring, then slot the built-in clips over the ring one by one.

Work around the ring
Follow the curve of the ring, opening the pleats a little at a time and clipping them in so the fabric wraps smoothly and the folds sit evenly.

Close the seam
Once you’ve gone all the way round, join and secure the two ends. Give the pleats a light tidy – your shade is ready.

A little regular care keeps the pleats crisp and the color true.
Weekly dusting
Sweep gently from top to bottom along the pleats with an anti-static duster, or use a hair dryer on a cool, low setting to clear dust from the folds.
Spot cleaning
Dab gently with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. Don’t scrub, so the pleats keep their shape, then let it air-dry somewhere cool and ventilated.
Lasting color
Fade-resistant fabric keeps its color and crisp shape. Avoid long hours of strong, direct sunlight.
